Yesterday while watching the Odyssey dev diary, spotted a comment that seemed funny and mockingly I proceded to laugh, but then the Sampling tool apears again and with Raxxla already in mind cuz the comment, I thought that the edges of the logo looks like the spikes of the tool, then put my hat on and made the img.

the coment was "Will odyssey be needed to find Raxxla?" . . . but but we already know that it's in game since the release, right guys!?

When a planet speaks to you?

Source: https://youtu.be/Pn4FJGTRo3A

Second 1, 16 and 29.... I thought I was suffering from space madness when the planet asked me to speak.... recorded it and shoved it in audacity (one copy normal volume and one amplified... I take no responsibility for your hearing...)

Can you hear it or am I mad?
And has anyone noticed this before?

Now how do you speak to a planet? :)
But all High metal content worlds in the system make the sound on the scanner ☹️ Is it like that everywhere?

Decided to do an in-depth analysis of the recent trailer.
I think they may have revealed something.
Possibly have found something of interest to some of you.
2 possible Dark Wheel station locations found. Literal vanishing planets and hidden systems,
two 8th moons of gas giants that vanish from radar. Ghost Worlds.

VERY URGENT QUESTION! who remembers and can tell how the lighthouse was found in the heart and soul nebula? I remember someone found a lighthouse there

The only Lighthouse I recall is Jackson's Lighthouse system - its one of the many 0 pop with allegiance systems in game (though it's not in the H+S). There are 238 of these at last count although only a few are really suspicious. A large proportion have Allegience "Guardian" or "Thargoid". Another bunch are prison facilities. And then there are a whole load which just look like human error. CM Draconis is the standout in my dataset - not that you'll find Raxxla there as it is only on the list due to inconsistent data in EDDB :)

Has anyone actually seen a “luxury passenger” mission come up on the board? Does it have it’s own icon?
Been googling for 30 minutes and haven’t found anything relevant

I’m asking because I’ve got a nice shiny Orca and that’s a mission type I’ve never done & can’t remember ever seeing one. I can see luxury passenger missions are also VIP missions (with the crown icon), but do I have to read through each VIP mission description to find out if its got a luxury cabin requirement or is there something that would tell me immediately?

I've got a few o those at Jameson Memorial... normally it's a "small crew" with a VIP passenger of some kind... good rewards. Nothing stood out, really.

you do not understand me ... oh, this google translator .... someone not so long ago, on a line from the toast of the dark wheel, could find in the nebula a heart and soul a beacon about Cupid, it seems, or Cupid's arrow. I'm interested in this

Maybe they're in specific systems? I'd suggest maybe trying in Epsilon Eridani, home of WorldCraft which is a tourism company. I'll keep my eye out.

You're pointing out of Thornycroft Terminal made me wonder - Thornycroft / Tornquist?

Tornquist or Törnquist or Tørnquist is a surname of Swedish origin. The word can mean"Thorn twig" or "thorn branch".

Thornycroft terminal is in Kuwair, meaning "small seawater canal".

Im there now, nothing out of the ordinary, lots of pirate contracts for the neighbouring system.

Then again Tornquist always made me think of Eumaeus, who lived in a hut of thorn branches and welcomes Odysseus the wandering vagabond...

Didn't you find the description of the navigation beacon interesting?

Mmm, not really, that’s what it looks like & it is on the way to Heart & Soul. The strung out line of bright stars is probably due to the inaccuracy of astronomical measurements of distance & there are a few examples of that in E D where real astronomical data has been imported into the Stella Forge. The Galactic Mapping project is, as I understand, a player group with no links to FD, although there is nothing to prevent FD making use of any their name attributions.

I am more intrigued by the incorrect positioning of the Broken Heart nebula IC 1805, which is a very visible group of stars also on the way to the Heart nebula, whereas in reality it should be within the Heart neb since IRL those stars are dissipating the gas to produce the hole in the Heart. This was at the heart (pun intended) of one of my earlier hypotheses (reported in this thread) and I spent a long time exploring around there. I did find two systems with the same name but different system maps. I also explored the Broken Heart Cluster, which is way back above Barnard’s Loop.
