The Quest To Find Raxxla

If there are candidate locations within the Bubble where we suspect something TDW or Raaxla related things are then those not being available for colonization is a strong indicator that we're on the right track.

They're currently breeding the next generation of human-hating thargoids/AI/gremlins/parking wardens.....
Perhaps someone has already beaten us to colonise a system where Raxxla resides, or perhaps we get to be that sinister cabal controlling commodities imported from the other side?!

well the cleaver thing about fdev is if we do find it. and get to know it. it'll prob be within the system and not named the system. It'll prob be the most mundane looking name ever for a system too../facepalm , all the juvenile$, bot$, & troll$ are so happy right now.

Fdev said in the Livestream today that the first goal of colonization is to reach out to Polaris../facepalm , all the juvenile$, bot$, & troll$ are so happy right now.

Yes, Polaris. This is gonna be interesting. Will it pick up Salvation Arc again? We will see I guess.
newb question but umm: What exactly do you mean by "interesting X's" ? Like, permit-locked stuff?
Sorry i only joined EliteDangerous game a little over a year ago , so i'm not familiar with "Polaris" nor "Salvation Arc" ... Can you elaborate or pass along an old forum thread/link about them? Thanks CMDR!
p.s. Where is the official recap or link to the Livestream from today? ( i don't see anything within the News & Bulletins section , but i'll check all the stickies again right now )
Any idea why Polaris is permit locked?
Spotted it on my way elsewhere and figured it's a famous star, why not drop in. But it's locked and surrounding systems are all empty. What's going on there I wonder? Feel free for some tinfoil hattery in reply...how about a lost Guardian colony? Or INRA in exile?

Maybe. But I think if that is true then the secret won't hold for very long.
And I know exactly which system I'd like to try it on 
There is some bugginess with the latest update. I had earlier a problem with a tourist beacon (I "received" log, but nothing actually happened), and now I had a CTD scanning an installation.
I'm seeing bug reports from all over the forum. Part of it is increased server load but wouldn't be surprised if FD broke a few things with this update.
It makes searching the systems faster because now you can see if a planet with a human signal but no settlement actually has an installation in orbit on the system map, thus eliminating it from having a secret surface base or something like that and no need to check it in the nav panel.

If they played this smart the darkwheel and raxxle should still be hidden from this type of system if not Im going to be very frustraited with them just giving up on a legit grand search that makes exploring interesting.
