Even though I've given up on the hunt for Raxxla I still follow the tinfoil here daily. Thanks to everyone who keeps that going. :D

A legitimate wondering: A year ago a certain user posted leaked material of a 5 year Frontier roadmap that I learned about on Reddit. I followed up on that post not long ago and the leak is, short of covid-19 delays and such, pretty much spot on. The author of the post signs off by saying there is no Raxxla in Elite, and given the accuracy of the post itself I was curious if this has made anyone feel differently about searching?

Without having any in-game clues I've been forced to hunt for real life ones instead. :p
It's incredible how totally incapable most people are of doing any amount of research on their own, they'd rather continually misquote or intentionally deceive people by spreading false information.

The leak NEVER said Raxxla wasn't in the game. The leak was originally posted on 4chan on April 14th 2019, with no mention of Raxxla whatsoever. Five days later, on April 19th, it was copy pasted onto Reddit with two lines added at the end that were not in the original post. One about how FDEV is so bad and how they outsource everything, and the line about Raxxla. The person who REPOSTED it to Reddit with the two extra lines has no credibility whatsoever.

I was just watching Commander Mattius' youtube - He had an interesting Raxxla video on just that. It mentioned Communication Array Delta 69 from Col 285 Sector BG-O d6-93 as well as the Thetis.
I hadn't realized this Delta 69 outpost existed! Very nice.

The logs talk of a mysterious body that isnt one of the crew ... and it appears to be connected to a gravitational anomaly as well as a signal. the anomaly sounds alot like a possible wormhole/stargate that the stranger possibly came through as well as the signal. Very much a potential tie in with the idea of Raxxla as a gateway - this also adds credence to the idea that twisted men are already in possession of raxxla and are possibly studying/experimenting on its capabilities. The fact that the anomaly presented itself at this site is suspicious as well - Is this a club associated site? The fact that dead body seems to be coming to life at the end of the messages is another interesting bit... Not to read too much into it but the associations of death and rebirth seem to fit in with some of the thoughts around raxxla. I also like that the signal seems to be affecting the minds of the people much like the Thetis (As pointed out by Commander Mattius) - Possibly a siren call ? or maybe Guardian AI?

It provides an interesting take on the "personal journey" as well... Note this is a "person" showing up ... not a ship. What if the continuation of the Raxxla story was always tied to a first person point of view. At any rate ... Col 285 Sector BG-O d6-93 will be one of the stopping points as I make my way back to the bubble...
Details on Delta 69 can be found in Canonn's archive: https://canonn.science/codex/communication-array-delta-69/

Another good write up about yhe Thetis.

Golgafrinchan Ark Fleet Ship B

I suspect Comms Array Delta 69 is just fluff hinting at Rogue AI (human), but the gravitational anomaly is intriguing. Hadn’t associated it with Raxxla, but thought Thargoid ship-anti-gravity drive would presumably produce a gravitational anomaly. Perhaps they have produced human-looking AI fifth column infiltrators ready for the coming war and wanted to see if it would pass inspection?? 😁

Thargoids don't need to produce human looking AI. They have collected live humans in the thousands. Slaves of all kinds, escape pods, prisoners, even Master chefs are scooped by our ammonia filled friends. They may of course only use them for food, but knowing the Thargoids, they are probably trying to modify them into something useful. 👾

Same here, long time ago I became disheartened by how much fluff is/was in game, as soon as you start second guessing intelligence because the source constantly spouts stuff which is unreliable you end up not trusting that source.

As I've alluded to in the past the general issue is the inconsistency FD has employed over the years, there are more than likely numberous clues already in game to all of the mysteries... but its time consuming to go chasing red herrings, especially if their fictional.

But dont get me wrong, I love a good wild goose chase, they've been fun, educational and above all kept me playing.

We swim in a sea of clues.

The human signal source is the Fleet Carrier in orbit.
The stuff on the planet you speak of is just random encounters that happen on any planet.
I had crashed nav beacons, smuggling ships, landed sleeping ships etc. on the other side of galaxy :)
I was wondering if the fleet carrier was the signal. Needs to be moved - it's messing with serious research. :D
I kind of figured there'd stuff to be found there but never noted quite this much crashed stuff on one planet before.

In any event, it was an interesting jaunt. I'll keep track of this thread for a bit.

They even kidnapped by uncle from a remote farm in Wiltshire and left a crop circle while they were there 🤪

Could be an interesting next series of Great British Bakeoff!! 😁

Yes, I think there are loads of clues for many things in-game “for those with eyes to see”. But FD didn’t (& still don’t) seem to understand what people expect. They think it’s a game, with great visuals and sound, therefore they emphasise the visual and aural but it all seems disconnected. Gameplay was much more satisfying when there was an author (MB) giving direction and giving it some purpose. Really hope FD have learnt and keep an author team involved throught the next release, otherwise it will involve a lot of stomping around and leaning against corners waiting for something to happen. Cue George Formby voice, strums banjo,
“I’m leaning on a lamppost on the corner of the street watching a certain little thargoid go by......” 😁🎸

In case anyone is wondering, baking and cakes are a recurring theme in this thread. Not exactly sure why, but cake related mysteries seem involved somehow.

Since we're no closer to finding Raxxla nor The Dark Wheel station as far as I can tell, I'll just drop this experience I had a couple years ago that never led to anything more. I had outfitted an Imperial Courier to specifically collect engineering materials, including wakes. Starting at Jameson Memorial, I scanned the first high wake I saw and took the jump to Nuenets, where I stayed and collected a few more materials from Unidentified Signal Sources. I eventually visited Shriver Hub and began scanning high wakes from there.

Whether I actually saw the NPC name before they jumped and thought it was neat or the fact that they had jumped to an unpopulated system, I followed the high wake to Crucis Sector DB-X b1-6, where when I exited witchspace I was greeted by the NPC "Zila Dawntracker", a Harmless Viper Mk3. I followed them in supercruise for about 20 minutes to the icy planet B 1, at which they low waked near it.

I dropped down into the low wake, and about 30 seconds went by before they high waked again. However, this time I didn't immediately pursue after scanning their wake and was surprisingly introduced to a ship that had just dropped in. A Vulture under the ship name "Raging Confessor", piloted by "Smed", Competent, and of course, apparently a member of The Dark Wheel.

After I had targeted them, Smed had approached close enough to start a scan. I let them finish (according to EDDiscovery was a "crime" scan, not a "cargo" scan), after which they turned away and high waked out. Mind you Smed never said a word, nor was I followed in supercruise while tailing Zila Dawntracker. I also scanned Smed's wake, but in perhaps a lapse of judgement I decided to continue to follow Zila Dawntracker to Bentin and several other systems which led to me eventually losing track of them.

This is one of the strange interactions that has stuck with me, and although I attribute it to "normal" and "expected" NPC behaviors, it was an odd experience in my eyes nevertheless. I did try to recreate the conditions of this interaction 4 more times 2 weeks later, but I had no success. Part of me hopes that if I were triple Elite or were carrying a specific commodity or something else that I would've been given a response by Smed.

I would argue that Guardian AI has been around longer is more advanced and has probably subsumed any rouge human AI out there. They dont need artificial shells... they just take over human ones. Like they did Halsey... And any one who believes there is such a thing as "fluff" is probably a good candidate for AI takeover... Are they in the Forum?... Frontier???
