You could ask for a refund.Personally, I've paid into the game, so yes I'm invested in it. I am not happy at the moment with the state of things, but all I can really do is keep my fingers crossed that CIG pull it out of the bag.

The video is a bunch of tweaks done by few SC fans, it's leaps and bounds ahead in feel and play compared to what CIG has been doing the past 16 months since AC has come out. If anything it's embarrassing that CIG is not capable of understanding why their current gameplay for flight/dogfighting is terrible. Hell, the way the Constellation handled in the CitizenCon PU demonstration is a clear example of how ridiculous their implementation of thrusters and flight is.
There needs to be some serious overhauling going on, I honestly wish the flight mechanics/dog fighting went to the Foundry 42 team, it would make even more sense because they are the ones making the SQ42 game itself.

People have been getting refunds for weeks now, from even before the Escapist debacle, CIG are just keeping very quiet about it for obvious reasons. No he couldn't... Since they keep changing the EULA clause that specifies after waht date can owners ask for refunds if the game isn't out... Funny how always cca month before the specified date they suddenly update eula and postpone it. Almost as if... they were short on money... But surely, that cannot be the case with them having 90 million dollars at their disposal...

Anyone know if post kickstarter backers are getting refunds?

I really cannot be bothered. I understood at the time that putting money in was a risk, and over the many months I have put in about £150 (not all at once). But no more will be coming from me until I see something I like about the flight & space combat. Currently, I don't like it, I don't find it fun, and I have tried to persist with it as some have suggested. The game does 'look' really good, cannot argue that the graphics and fidelity are really well done - but there's no gaming fun for me there at the moment.
My advice to all who ask me about SC is simply to wait, do not invest at this time, and do not enter promo code IAMASUCKER![]()
why dont they just videotape cutscenes hollywood style in front of a greenscreen? like they did with wing commander, command & conquer etc. all this 3D motion capture thing seems like a lot of work for little return.
we dont need a movie, some short clips with prominent actors will do fine.
Just to say on this, I'm not advocating either way but this sort of thing confuses me.
Given a refund is probably available to you if you asked, in real terms there is no difference at all between you and a new investor thinking about putting £150 in.
You choose not to take the refund but presumably if you were a new backer today you wouldn't put the money in?
I'm wondering, what's the difference between the two and what keeps you from asking for your money back?
(Feel free to ignore the question if you want, it's just I see a lot of backers saying similar things)
looks terrible? entire movies has been made that way. and it looked fine even 10 years ago
