It's Ok in small doses, if you build up your tolerance. Whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger :D

I'm up to being able to manage 3 minutes straight right now.

I find scams absolutely fascinating. Also religious cults, mediums, TV evangelists, David Icke's stuff (not the lizard people), mythology, ufo's and conspiracy theories it's truly amazing the things some people will believe and the lengths dishonest people will go to to profit from that.

I think everything listed above is total hogwash, but it's still interesting hogwash.

Exactly, you nailed it. Ironically, they usually repeat that the people excited about Star Citizen are a "Cult". "The Cultist goons", "The     izens", "The Shills", they use to call everyone, when the reality is that what is posted on this thread on a daily basis is much closer to the speech of a fanatic cult than just being excited about an upcoming video game.
Cultists seem to believe to have some kind of divine task to spread their "word of truth", because the world "has gone mad" and everyone is wrong, usually deceived by a "figure of evil" (in this case Chris Roberts) and they wont rest until they convert people to their belief.

I tend to find that the people who believe in this stuff, when questioned, have "issues".
