I'm just looking at Wikipedia, which is not a trusty source...says created by Erin and Chris. Is there more to that story?
Like with most games “by” Chris, he just conjured up the money — someone else did the actual development. For Starlancer, his only credit is as executive producer whereas Erin is credited for production, design, and original concept. The Elms brothers show up in original concept, project coordination, art direction, and mission design. Each bring their own production posse of familiar names, like Eric Peterson and Derek Senior.
Starlancer is a funny story since it was a bit of a case of brotherly competition: they did one *lancer each, only Erin completed his, whereas Chris' failure to deliver his entry led to his industry exit. I have a hard time imagining a more thorough trouncing.
