:Ok... If it's not a scam, would you agree that this project could have been managed better?
Yup! It's beyond obvious that in retrospect anything could have been managed better; so what is the purpose of stating the obvious?

I have no idea about any of that but the only company beholden to those laws are Foundry42 UK and/or DE. CIG/RSI, the parent company, don't have to comply with those laws sorry to burst your bubbles![]()
I find it interesting that you seem to think that a business not being legally accountable for its actions is a good thing.
No, I'm not immediately jumping to any conclusions because I don't know the circumstances for said lateness.
Yup! It's beyond obvious that in retrospect anything could have been managed better; so what is the purpose of stating the obvious?
I said nothing about lateness.
So you are going to pull UK/EU laws that only govern entities within said jurisdiction.....wonderful logic there![]()
Umm... CIG has a studio in the UK and they have to comply with UK law. Last I heard they've failed to register this years financial statement.

So you weren't responding to/about these:
And like I said to Sleutelbos, that is a logical fallacy to assume that because this company turned out to be a scam that CIG will/could turn out to be a scam. I mean if that is your logic for calling CIG/Star Citizen a scam than you have to use that logic for every business everywhere.....see how ridiculous that is. So again if you have undeniable proof post it and allow that evidence to prove your claim and dictate the conversation instead of the status quo of subjective conjecture.
Case and point. If the mods didn't delete my post I could point back to it but the gist of what I posted was if you think that Star Citizen is a scam or that any of their employees would keep quiet about a scam, you might want to get your head examined. Don't know how that equates to "mental issues" unless you think Star Citizen is a scam or think that their employees would be complicit in said scam.
Remember, at $60 million they had enough to create the game.
The point is, that if this game had been managed better we could have this game by now and so much money and time wouldn't have been wasted. That's why some of us are a trifle peeved.
But you're making a stink about something that you cannot control or change. Do you honestly think you can oust CR out of his own company that has no board or is a publicly traded company? I mean what is the endgame here; what is the purpose?
I was responding to the post I quoted.

I was addressing your point "that any of their employees would keep quiet about a scam".And like I said to Sleutelbos, that is a logical fallacy to assume that because this company turned out to be a scam that CIG will/could turn out to be a scam. Thank you. This is the first time I've chatted with a SC fan who sees this. You may think it's obvious but there are many who deny the obvious.
The point is, that if this game had been managed better we could have this game by now and so much money and time wouldn't have been wasted. That's why some of us are a trifle peeved.
You are the one crying about scam, not me.
What I think is that at the end of 2014 they had over 100 - closer to 200 than 100 - employees. Teams with 20 have done more in 6 months than they have in 22 months. There is definite evidence of doctored demos and previews intentionally designed to "show progress" that isn't actually progress because it was a very custom designed environment solely for showing things that may at some point could possibly happen but probably not just give us more money and maybe something will happen.
He got $124 million, if they need more to get even No Man's Sky level of playability with only 5 star systems - then yes, gross negligence topped with intentional misleading and misrepresentation is the absolute minimum going on there.
Remember, at $60 million they had enough to create the game. The fact sales are ongoing for non-existent ships that will not exist for several years but they keep selling them constantly is very obvious that they are in financial trouble. They would stop selling, create the ships they promised, then later on - like next year if they have enough to keep afloat till then - do another round if they really need to. Instead, it's a constant stream which is so obviously the desperate attempts to shake the wallets of people because they don't have the financial backings they claim to. Monthly millions of dollars incoming does not make a game or make it faster, it keeps a company just above water.
No the point is that the "conspiracy theorist" in the past years pointed towards mismanagment BEFORE the Kotaku interview...its funny how people forget that. "Stupid conspiracy theorist! What do you know you are mentally ill" but oh weh the theorist was right! Everybody just ignores the fact and all are about "noone saw that coming!!So what?! Its good for the game!"
It shows how hard it is to get to people acknowledge fishy stuff when it gets pointed to them. But how easy it is for them to forget that someone told them that there was something fishy in the first place.
THAT should make you think a bit...
Just because they choose to keep on selling ships doesn't mean that's indicative of them being in financial trouble. .
I don't know, what is your purpose, exactly? Please enlighten us...
I gave my SC account away well before the Kotahu.UK interview. It's been obvious that SC was going to take far longer than promised for a long time.
