The filename should be T16000 FCS Hotas.1.8.binds or some such combination.
Oh, I would have thought that the customized file would have a different name, but maybe there's an added word in there to indicate customization.
The filename should be T16000 FCS Hotas.1.8.binds or some such combination.
Unrelated, what do you have the click on the mini-stick set to? Just curious if I could set that to toggle landing gear.
BTW, I found the Custom binds file, and it was called "Custom.1.8.binds". The reason I'd searched for it fruitlessly before is that for some weird reason there's also a Frontier_Developments folder alongside the one without an underscore character. Don't know what purpose it serves but it doesn't have the \Options folder.
Does anyone know what the 1.8 part refers to? Is it a reference to the number of major patches since release for the game, or to the particular preset for this HOTAS?
I just discovered the perfect (for me) function for the analogue stick 'button'. I now use it for drive assist in the SRV, as that cannot interfere when using the stick for thrusters in the ship.![]()
1.8 part is a version number for t he file, i expect that to change when the format changes. It is also in the file itself as: "<Root PresetName="Custom" MajorVersion="1" MinorVersion="8">"
Also wondering about using the T.Flight Rudder Pedals in combination with the T.16000m. Basicly is it worth it?
German DHL have imagined a new way to drive away customers: so far, Amazon.de is usually using "DHL express" for prime deliveries, which was fine until several weeks ago. At that time, DHL express stopped dropping off their deliveries at the local Post office. Your choice: either be at home when the delivery comes, or fetch it from their special depot.
Wanting to know the best way to make sure the throttle stays in place. Would I need to bolt/screw it to my desk, or could a couple of rubber feet keep it from sliding? Also was wondering about the over all quality compared to the X52. I am on the verge of upgrading from the cheap (but very reliable, and still working perfectly after a years worth Eliting) Thrustmaster T.Flight X.
Why not just use the same button for FA?
Why not just use the same button for FA?
It's very easy with the M6 bolting, i drilled only one wrong hole
But you don't notice.

Has anyone figured out what the "V axis" is, BTW? By default it's set to control sensor range. I thought it was the wheel on the outside end of the throttle, but that's the U-axis, as is the throttle control on the stick, so I'm rather mystified as to which analog axis I'm missing.
There is no V axis, FD made a typo. Bug filed. Pretty sure they meant to use the U axis for the scanner range.
Hi all,
got my FCS today, and am currently flying around with it, trying to find a nice bindings set for me.
But: I encountered one problem which I _think_ read about in passing but can't find it any more: Since I plugged in (and played around with the bindings) for the HOTAS, my Tobii EyeX doesn't work any more. I.e., the EyeX itself works fine - it just doesn't control the headlook in ED any more.
Anybody got an idea about what I need to do to get that working agaion?
