Release Trade Computer Extension Mk.II

The Desktop TCE Icon has the checkbox Run As Administrator checked.

After running the Auto Detect process, it changed the path to:
H:\Program Files (x86)\Frontier\EDLaunch\Products\elite-dangerous-64

Launching TCE then ED resulted in TCE showing my sector I am in and it is no longer showing "Waiting for ED"
I think that fixed it!
Thanks for your help.
I am glad that we finally fixed it!
Evidently, my system gets confused between several version that are installed on my PC for ED32 and ED64 as well as the VR versions.
So the solution appears to be that if it says "Waiting" then run the auto detect for the version being run to change it to the correct location of the version of .exe file being run.

A search for EliteDangerous*.exe returns the following installed versions:

H:\Program Files (x86)\Frontier\EDLaunch\Products\elite-dangerous-64\EliteDangerous64.exe
H:\Documents and Settings\{Local User Account}\AppData\Local\Frontier_Developments\Products\elite-dangerous-64\EliteDangerous64.exe
H:\Documents and Settings\{Local User Account}\AppData\Local\Frontier_Developments\Products\COMBAT_TUTORIAL_DEMO\EliteDangerous32.exe
L:\Oculus\Software\Software\frontier-developments-plc-elite-dangerous\Products\elite-dangerous-64\EliteDangerous64.exe
C:\Users\{Local User Account}\AppData\Local\Frontier_Developments\Products\elite-dangerous-64\EliteDangerous64.exe

That is pertinent information that may have helped diagnose your problem earlier. Ah well it's fixed now.

Am I missing Something

Hi All,
I'm looking to add a location to the database for future reference.
It's one of many of the Ruins sites, but in order to add it I have to create Location Data.
In the window, I need to add select a location type, but the options are limited to 5 and none represent 'Ancient Ruins Site', maybe this could be an option?
Now I've filled out all the boxes, all is green and I have a save button but it doesn't appear to save.
Two screenshots on links below:

Appreciate the assistance please.

Check your Navigation/locactions tab. Maybe it saved and is showing up there? Mine do.

Abil,

Well I didn't expect that, your right all my attempts are there, so it begs the question, why then does the second screen appear, and why the top banner still shows 'Click to Add Location'.

Something else is adrift here too, Under flight log, how can I have two systems with the same name, 19Ly's apart?
In star system summary, logbook Notes How is the visited date calculated, as the date is 31/12/1899?

Your second screen is actually the first, what you see when opening the Database panel ( by chlicking the Ui button).

The 'Click to Add Location' continues to show, because you have not selected a SectorID for the stored location.
The button at the end of the row (tooltip "Actual Sector") allocates the Location to the proper sector within the star system, so TCE can detect it on approach.

The 1899 date is a bug and will be fixed with the next release. But I didn't see a doubled entry, you noticed at the flightlog?
If you referring to the first and second entry, then the second entry is for the star system approach, the first for the inner system location visit, which TCE has identified.

Hello everybody,

I have added new phrases for the upcoming Exploration Update to the TCE translation project.
If you like to see all the new stuff into your favored language, please help in translating them and other missing translations of russian, french and spanish language.

You will find the translation project here at OneSky:

Thanks in advance!

Eventure,
Can you see if you can make the SectorID red until it's populated, it appears green all the time.
Thanks for the date bug fix.

Hi

Is there a way to delete a station from my database? This is about the rescue station that comes near the attacked station and then disappears one week later, but remains in the database.

Thank you

Sure, open the Database panel, select Trade Markets, then Delete Entry and enter the name of the market, select it finally from the list and hit the red Delete button.

Eventure,
I'm back tracking some locations now I can get them to work, How do I determine the sector ID of something I've been to already without having to go back to the system?
I don't know where this info is obtained.

Thanks.

The data is in your logbook database, but currently not visible at the Flight Log tab of the Navigation panel.
With the next update I will include this information and you can filter all entries by locations (or Jumps, Markets or Space) to find easily the info, you require.

@When clicking the Position Display to add a location, the SectorID field is now auto-populated with the proper ID (with the next update of course).

@ Eventure
Could not have been easier , thank you again :D.

If you want to delete the current station, you are, you could also click the Postion Display of the main UI and select DELETE MARKET.
The Database panel will open, prepopulated for you. Hit then the red DELETE button.
Much quicker, but only for stations, you are currently at.

Hello Eventure,

have made serval more translations. Even the new added Materials are translated completly.
Some Rares are not translateble, i've found nothing similar, maybe ingame, if i find the time to do so.

Thanks, yeah the rares are something special... some even haven't a translation in game.

Auto-plot route to trade destination?

Hello,
First off, thank you @Eventure for making this tool, it's pure genius! Is there a way to set it so that when starting a trade route, it automatically plots a route & locks onto the destination station in the game's Navigation panel / Galaxy (or System) map? (Not to be confused with TCE's Navigation panel.) I could've sworn it did this when I first started using it but then stopped once I started monkeying around with settings and key binds and it hasn't worked like that since. Or am I just misremembering and we've always had to manually plot the route to Station B when leaving Station A, and vice versa?

There is actually no way to set an ingame waypoint or destination by a 3rd party app. Nor it's possible to identify the selected waypoints ingame.
TCE is plotting a route between the stations, displayed at the Waypoint panel, so you can select the next waypoint from the ingame list of surrounding systems quickly, but sadly the list isn't always complete ingame.

But TCE adds the star system name of the destination into the clipboard, so pasting it into the galaxy map UI will make setting up a route a little easier.

Ok, thank you for confirming those points and that it wasn't a setting I mistakenly toggled. I can deal with "working as intended". My brain playing tricks on me and essentially imagining things is another matter. ;P

Hello, a quick question. I'm using 3.05 and on the Extensions tab, if I change the Range or Distance settings for EDDB-Relay, they revert back to 30 and 10000 as soon as I move off of them. Is there no way to change those values?

Also, when I dock at a station does EDDB-Relay merely get that stations details or does it do market updates for the 30ly around that?
