I've been finding unexplored planets still within the core inhabited area, I was shocked. At least I think I was the first one to discover them, they had no 'first discovered' next to them, but when I scanned them they just had the data it didn't say it was discovered by me, but I'm still kind of new to how all this works, can anyone confirm?

LP 90-39 AB 1 A

Youdu B 2

LHS 287 A 3,4++

AD Leonis A 2,3
AD Leonis B 4++

(++ means all remaining bodies in the system beyond that point were unexplored as well)

It's not a new record, but I can equal an existing record:

Report them eg. here, please. The issue is known but perhaps having names of those bodies they will come up with a solution faster.

Edit: But I hope you remember that you have to sell your data to see your "first discovered by" tag.

Sorry but those stars are all 1st tier, I will look for my posts explaining nesting for you when I get back from work

Nice find! but unfortunately only records that beat previous get added to book

Some star description seem to be bugged we only recently realised this and had to reset records for A and F class stars :(

I wasn't sure about this: do Belts count as bodies too? And if yes, is it just one or one for cluster on the menu? The sum I mentioned on top is counted without any though...

Say Patau82, great job on the book of records btw, but I have a small proposal

How about explaining 'nesting' inside the actual book of records? It's very unclear to me as well, and I can't find the information anywhere! Just saying it'd be a great place to see the explanation - in the book itself.

(edit) Crazy luck, I found a class IV giant with 14 moons. Assuming the moon-of-a-moon counts, it beats one record:

Hey Patau! First I wanna thank you for your work, it's great fun to fly through the galaxy searching for the most extreme phenomenas.

Is it possible you didn't see this quoted post of mine and thus didn't put it in the book? Or have I done some miscounting?

A bit strange though, that the stars belong to different classes, although they have exactly the same size, age, mass and temperature.

Nice thread.

Pilot request to explorers. Please deliver your data to the Founders World and help the Pilots Federation expand. It is now gaining influence outside of the Founders System. Thanks.
