Don't worry abot INRA. They are out there. UA or not.

So are the Thargoids, something worse than the Thargoids, Dark Wheel, A door that isn't a door, a key that isn't a key or a place otherwise known as Raqqla (we know this is in or will be in the game because Brooks has said he intend to tell that story in game).

However none of that gets us anywhere closure to cracking the mystery that is the UA.

I'm starting to think that there is no plauge connection at all.
That the Cerberus thing was just to make us look closer at the triple-heads on the UA.

Now the plauge is cured it seems and the UA was not involved. That leaves us with the UA as a spreader of the ilness.

which is why im interested in what happens with the tea :) .... I always liked the idea of a malevolent UA vs a benevolent one anyway

Maybe there is a way to follow a UA when it warps - Has anyone tried a frame shift wake scanner on a decaying (activating) UA?

I know this sounds far fetched but it fits with damn near everything - Even Halseys disappearance. She detoured in her Capital ship to pick up a small ship carrying a UA. This ship docked in the Capital ships docking bay - which is not enclosed like a space station docking bay. The UA ate its way out of the small ship and activated - as Halsey tried to Frameshift. Cue massive amount of energy being released, and as reported - a massive shock wave (which you can actually see on the video of the UA activating.)

You try and convince this lot to let their UA die. The only time the UA look like it triggered in such a way that it look like it enter FSD is when it health reaches zero.

Put a frame shift wake scanner on an activating UA and it may take you straight to Raxxla

Wake Scanners need a wake to scan, a dead UA doesn't leave a wake.
If you mean scanned a UA that hasn't died yet, then I gather someone tested all scanners on the UAs to no result.

I would love to do that , but I don't know own a UA after hours of looking, I haven't even stumble onto the correct convoy instance and the people who do are about as willing to give it up as my cat is willing to give up his toy mouse, or Gollum willing to give up the ring.

I really would laugh if the answer to this mystery was to listen to the UA die(enter FSD) and then follow along, it would be the ultimate test of how willing we are to solve this mystery that we have to give up something that taken us hours to get.

just a word of caution, Kerrash != Frontier, we have been lead astray by non-employees before. The fact is, we have ONE official, source=FD, clue to go on: "Have you listened to them?" The otherone is the wings trailer.

And, in case you missed it, this post on Galnet directly linking the UA to the Halsey incident which was not player-submitted: https://community.elitedangerous.com/galnet/uid/8b77b16c574e3d023419b49c2a0a662d6bcc7cea It's already the Wiki's list of Galnet posts. But it happens to be the only news feed item by Frontier that actually mentions the artefact.

I find it hard to belive that FD would print the name off the key condity, just like that. It leves two options.

A: Put it in space with UA.
B: Drop UA in the sone of the planet where the tea is grown.

In that case they have totally given up on us :)

Nothing else points to the tea. How should we have guessed?

I mean - while the UA is in the final moments of Dying/decomposing/exploding/activating or whatever you want to call it. As it is warping.

May be Frontier relies they put in a few to many red herrings into Galnet that got us linking UA to Cerberus plague and there quick ending of the plague threat via the way of tea was to tell us we were barking up the wrong tree.

Has anyone compared a video of a ship frameshifting with that of the UA disappearing? Are any of the effects/colours similar? I can count on one hand how many times I have seen another ship actually use its FSD in game (I tend to play on my own and explore), and I honestly cannot remember what it looked like now.

Or, maybe, in regards to the outcry for the CG to be more profitable they included a rare good. There are other threads on this forum haha ;p gotta poke your head out once in a while.

Im starting to join the camp of - they are making it up as they go along. I think the Tea because - its mentioned in galnet as the "cure" for the phage. The Phage does similar things to stations that the UA does to ships - not to mention visual similarities. And Both Braben and Stimpson both went out of their way to mention the "Tea" today

I have read much of this but dont see the answer to my question, since this all started with the wings update, what happened when 2 UA were dropped near each other while in a wing?

It's a direct link to the UA. He all but say the name.
I think the key to that article however is the last sentence: "You are being lied to".

There are strong hints that the Antares was sabotaged.
When Winters as a former Sirius employee talks about that incident, it tells me that she knows what hapened.

I do, honest.

But I tend to ignore all of the threads that from the title sound like they are filled with moaners.

Could be. I still think it's a hint to rares.

Have you listen to it points to whale.
The trailer points to whale.
It makes your modules rust.
It scans for a specific location.

If we take it to the vakuum krill, it will be happy :)

Simple, solvable in 1.2 and strange. Just what we should expect.
