Guys, just go to the crashed Anaconda wich spawns UA on relog and do this in about an hour of gameplay...
Here the Location: Izanami A 4 A (-2.2541, 145.1307)
Cheers!
Maybe they hoped that, for once, players wouldn't be seeking "instant gratification"-the primary motive behind the very grinding that grinders claim to hate so much.

Hi,
I spend more than an hour yesterday running in an SRV back and forth around those coordinates but I never found the wrecked Anaconda. Is there something I need to do first? Or is it just removed from the A4A ??
It's still there.
Sometimes it takes a while until it loads. If you found the UA. Destroy it and collect the fragments. Go to your ship fly upwards up to 2km and then log out. Log back in and land. If you just log out in your SRV the UA and the anaconda start to fall through the planet surface.

I had in mind that exploration data was needed for palin, so I have gathered more than 3m theese past weeks while trying to unlock the other engineers.Plan a route 130-150 ly from merope, pack a ADS and DSS and go exploring while keeping an eye out for USS and farm your UA. Somewhat similar to an exploration run. Palin is an explorer engineer afterall and the benefits of corrosive resistant cargo racks + grade 5 thrusters should not be easily accessible.
Understandable that some don't like the work/time aspect needed, i for one like it and feel it's in the spirit of doing something exploration-ish. Even though it could have been implemented with more alternatives - like the aforementioned "bring me 3 intact UA at the same time" or similar.
Still, i can't shake the feeling like most that complain - (and now look to farm a single source by logging in/out) rather have an easy mode option? The universal "pay me some $" bore? Just wondering. Where's the sense of accomplishment in that then?

Last night I traveled in to midle of nowhere to search for anomalies. I found 1 (two fragments) after almost two hours! I cannot spend 24 hours of gameplay waiting for Uss to appear...
... So I started looking for alternatives and ended up on this thread.
Fair enough, if that was really down to rng i think i would have lost motivation too. But are you sure you have been flying in a circle/shell of systems 130-150ly around Merope? I just planned my nav. points in a sphere around it and spent up to 20 minutes in a system because it took about 20minutes on average for the anomalies to spawn. Also, i was just genuinely curios and hopefully wasn't coming over as condescending. If it 'feels' like a grind to you that's all that matters.

By the way, the searching while exploring does not work.
Nommater how you like playing this is the definition of grinding....
HIP 14479 is a good spot for UA hunting. Hope it helps.
