  • Checkerboard rendering is now automatically applied to low, medium, and high quality graphics settings. This option will reduce the cost of the planet terrain shader when in close proximity to a landable planet.

So no Apex shuttles nor Frontline solutions on Carriers? That's quite a disappointment, if an expected one. Would've been the two most important on-foot services to have for me, like this it just became a bar & a nice bridge with a (hopefully cool) jump animation.
 
Now that the Odyssey content updates have finished (what was announced), will FD turn to other, more Powerplay shaped matters?
Probably waaaay off topic but I think we need some multi-part missions that link the parts of the game together:

Planet Based:
  • Clear the skies above a settlement (essentially a ship-based CZ)
  • Drop out on foot or SRV and fight ground resistance to get into the base
  • Steal a thing / shut-down the base / etc

Similarly, Space Based:
  • Clear enemy ships around a mega-ship
  • Disable the mega-ship
  • Launch a fighter (or possible EVA) to fly inside the mega-ship and dock
  • Locate the bridge (fighting on-foot resistance)
  • Initiate self destruct (requires cloning both the Captain and First Officers security credential - maybe by two different CMDRs for wing-only missions?)
  • Eacape back to your fighter before she blows!!

That sort of thing …
