Well, on the 28th Bruce said it was originally slated for February, so they're already behind if that was really the case.Define "unforeseen issue"?. I mean come on guys we all know there's problems on update day so why don't you add a week to the release date, or did you do that?
Indeed, I think it's well known there's been problems and delays over the years but one fundamental issue I can see is that they're not learning from their mistakes. It's the same old thing with every update and the one thing I'd be asking internally is why!

Personally I'd think retconning anti gravity might go a long way to explain the behaviour. After all they apparently managed to invent a new hyperdrive and refit it in most (all) ships in about 10 years time. Walking on a low G surface might also be explained by anti gravity as we could conceivably all house a unit in our backpacks and no one knows how anti gravity would really work. They could save the magnetic boots for an eventual future 0G environment.
But if you read the ED novellas, the magnetic boots seem deeply anchored in the lore..
In fact I read Reclamation just the other day, and magnetic boots featured prominently. BTW, if you like space opera and you'd enjoy reading a scifi book which is firmly anchored in our beloved game, Reclamation is a fun read!

There hasn't been anything "exciting" released in years. Humor in the post-Oddy world maybe isn't as endearing as you think it is. How about some actual deadlines, roadmaps, and development goals that are adhered to and delivered with a high standard of quality, and treating your customers like they matter?
I see PC players keep getting updates, is there a patch log yet and are there any updates for console players? Just getting the new SRV would be nice. Can we get any info as console players or you gonna force me to get a PC to play Star Citizen?
