but iv'e only got into ax ship building , have they finished it. no it not finished it just the beginning of the end. Or is that the end of the beginning
There have been patches every 4 months on average - all with fun new content. You should really log in more often than every 2 years.Nothing thin or snarky about it. I had no problem with it at the beginning, but getting old. Like I stated waited two years for waiting, this is a joke.
Thanks for this incredible (ironic) update. 30 gigabytes of update and you only added these new torpedo pylons. Not even the new python...
Phasers. I want to be able to shoot one at a wall and have a big hole show up when the glow fades away.If lasers in Elite have recoil they should also get the force shell experimental effect!
I came to that conclusion also.I think this was a thinly veiled attempt on a snarky remark along the lines of "I never cared for the current story arc, and I never will!!!!!1!1!".
So, exactly what were you waiting for?Like I stated waited two years for waiting, this is a joke.
I play daily thank you. There have been patches every 4 months on average - all with fun new content. You should really log in more often than every 2 years.
Do I hear 7, do I hear 9, Sold for 11mins.i give it 5 min![]()
I am considering new assets "story stuff". They don't add assets to serve themselves, they will add them to tell the Thargoid War arc to its conclusion. And I seriously doubt they touched 80% of all assets in the game so that they need to be replaced by the update.
I mean, there's a chance I'd be wrong... but I suspect there will be quite a bit of new... "asset stuff" in the 30 GB.
Since this is U18, for what update have you been waiting for 2 years?
And here I thought it would be "fart in your general direction".Stargoid transforms to Gigastargoid sprouts blue hair and corrosively vomits in your general direction?
Playing a game daily and then being miserable about it probably isn't good for you. Have you considered Star Citizen?I play daily thank you.
That's probably a sensible idea to assess the update's amount of new content. How dare you be reasonableOut of curiosity I copied the game's Win64 folder (the one that has everything other than the binaries and the shaders) and will compare it to U18 after the patch drops.

Not going to look into it in much detail, but the delta of the folder size and file counts should reveal something of the updated vs. new balance...especially since Frontier seems to keep everything in in the client in separate files for some reason.
As a VR player, I would kill for proper AA. Seriously. If the access to working AA was locked behind the conversion to ganking, I would. In a heartbeat.Motion vectors so we can finally get some kind of AA better than post-process blur filters or hideously expensive supersampling.

Well just goes to prove that you don't know as much as you think. It sounds like a game you would good in, Maybe you should move along.Playing a game daily and then being miserable about it probably isn't good for you. Have you considered Star Citizen?
A 'new AA engine' was mentioned a couple of years ago, if my memory serves, then nothing more was ever said about it.I would kill for proper AA.
Soon you will be able to hear the thargoid equivalent ofStargoid transforms to Gigastargoid sprouts blue hair and corrosively vomits in your general direction?
