Quick update to keep you all in the loop.
We've hit a small issue in deployment which the team have been focusing on. Everything is progressing fine but it does mean that the servers will need to remain down for a little longer. We're estimating up to a couple of hours but we'll keep people informed as we know more.
Thanks,
Zac

Thanks to the team Zac.
You know I ordered my CV1 on faith that FDEV would have the game working with the Rift shortly after release and you have not disappointed. VR ready before the hardware arrives!
Those beers at LaveCon are waiting at the bar...
Yeah I was in the same boat... The Win8.1 PC upgraded to Win10 one day, next day the Win7 PC did the same. Gutted, I wanted to keep Win7 on the old one.
I am very careful with that too, and had originally set to not allow it to update anything by itself... and one morning, when I had an important meeting and still stuff to finish it just suddenly started the update while I was in the middle of doing stuff (that really annoyed me a lot). First I thought I may have accidentally triggered it myself (maybe some popup coming up and while I was typing I hit enter or space and that way accepted it), though I was pretty sure it wasn't the case. Then the same day in the evening, while I was away from the PC it suddenly updated my gaming PC too, and that time I was 100% sure I didn't trigger anything, as I was away from the PC for like 3h or so with no input whatsoever...
[though I also have to say all in all am ok with Win10 so far, and I wanted to move to it anyway at some point, but *at the time of MY choosing*]
A couple? like erm 2 ... or like many? ;-P

A couple is two but sounds slightly less formal. Like two's cool twin brother that could turn up to party in a Hawaiian shirt and could turn up early or possibly even a little late. No one really knows for sure.
In short: Yeah we're estimating up to 2 hours.![]()
Oh, there's a problem. Now when has that ever happened? ;-)
Not sure why we don't just publish the upgrade intent well in advance and say we will be down for 8 hours so suck it up folks.
At least then everyone can have their expectations set.
I can't remember too many (if any) of the patches & upgrades running to the original estimates TBH.
But thanks for the update Zac, much appreciated.

I got the forced update on one of my computers as well. The scary thing was my was that I hadn't taken a proper backup of the machine. Luckily the only thing that didn't work was a USB to RS232 adapter. I had to buy a new one. I've managed to keep Microsoft's paws off my gaming machine so that the DK2 still works.
A lot of people are saying that Windows 10 is the last Windows Operating System you'll install on your machine... I can that prophesy coming true.
Is that 2 more hours, than the original 2 hours, making it 4 hours all up?![]()
My client still showing server status UPGRADING but Bulletin says The ED servers have now been updated to 2.0.07
Do I have to download a new client if so where ?
