Updated Permit List

PHEKDA
Rep Systems: *Brizo, Ethgreze, G 176-29 and *Megrez
Benefits: Nothing of particular interest according to one poster's account. Shipyards only has a sidewinder, outfitting has only low-end items. Gonsalez station has slaves, imperial slaves, personal\battle weapons supply. Only Toxic waste and "Trinkets of Hidden Fortune" are banned here, so not a bad place to go sell some contraband (these guys ARE a crime group after all). Two of the stations have black markets. Obtain when you have nothing better to do in the game.
Note: Recommended systems have a station controlled by Phekda society. Also, a new faction known as the "Ancients of Mumu" have taken control. Conjecture would imply that this is a new player group faction. If anyone has information on these guys, or if they have a website, then please post and I will place it here.

As others said: Permit no longer required, The Ancients of Mumu are a player faction.
The Ancients of Mumu are strong in Phekda, they control every station there.

Will the system require a permit the old faction if the old faction is in control again? :p

It's a bit bizarre to have a permit system that they then give away to a player faction. I wonder if whoever gives the factions away knows what a mess they are making of the game. Rare goods impossible to get, permits deleted, Imperial naval rank permit systems given away, what next? Sol maybe?
Should we form a group and ask for Polaris?

That's what I though too. Weird to give a system that needed a permeit to a player faction. Even if the system has nothing special to offer.
What was the purpose of the permit in first place?

Did the bounty vouchers work out to improve the reputation with the faction?

LTT 198
Faction: LTT 198 Order
Rep Systems: *Theta Sculptoris, *Kigandan, *Arngi, Tavgi
Benefits: none known
Note: Recommended system has a station controlled by the LTT 198 Order.
LTT 198 Order no longer is in control of Arngi, they have lost both Outpost in tha system.

Can't get permit to Pi Mensae. I'm Allied with Pi Mensae Brotherhood, tried relogging in Alpha Chamaelontis and Walgan for an hour but with no results.

I have the same issue. Been station hopping now for some time to try and find a mission.

Update: Got the mission now at Alpha Chamaelontis

I've just checked Pi Mensae in the system map (though I'm in Walgan), it's still in control of the Brotherhood. So that's one permit system that FD haven't given to a player faction, yet.
Walgan isn't showing any Pi Mensae permits in the Unobtainable Missions tab either (I'm only friendly so far).
.
I think I'll park my FDL near here and go try mining my way to a Nastrond permit.

I doubt it. FD removed the permit lock, so it's up to them to reestablish it.

Anyways, I removed the system from the list and put an announcement in the OP about it.

Regarding how to get a permit, I have just been smashing some wanted NPC's in a rez zone in Luyten 145-141, picked up a few million credits and 3 System Permits have appeared in my list that weren't there before - Sol, Vega & Beta Hydri. Wasn't on any specific mission, just grinding some credits for new ASP so maybe this is one way?

These are Federation permits you get at certain ranks. Please see first page. ;)

I just got the permit for Nastrond, just with mining :) Far quicker than doing missions.
Nastrond may lose its permit status soon, the Defence Party of Nastrond only has 10% influence left there.

Just some minor edits to add, next time you're editing the front page:

- Sol system also has two "palm tree" stations, M.Gorbachev and Galileo. Galileo is the only Ocellus-class palm tree station I've yet encountered in-game.
- The Sirius system entry needs updating; it didn't get any extra benefits in 1.3, or in Horizons as far as I know. Sirius Corp has also lost control of most of its colony stations in the Sothis Spur: they have a presence but no control stations left in the Ceos, Robigo, Almagest, Takurua and Te Kaha systems.

It's actually two, by my reckoning: they still hang onto control of the mining outpost in Sothis itself.

These far-flung outposts are vulnerable to being taken over by disreputable organizations, because those are more likely to offer the high-paying long range smuggling missions currently fashionable. And high-paying usually means high-influence-shifting.

So that should be Bruce Prospect, Avik and Sothis Mining, Sothis.
What about Davy Dock, Procyon?
.
This is one of the things I don't like about the BGS, where factions are boosted just because they are offering the high paying missions. a company with the power of Sirius Corp wouldn't be losing so many stations without doing something about it.

Just got the permit for Pi Mensae at Alpha Chamaelontis, so that is working now. Got this one purely by bounty hunting.
Having a good night, Just got the Hodack permit too, this one through mining.

Thanks for the feedback and gratz on the permits. ;)

I have still four permits to earn, excluding the CQC system and Phekda.

Well Phekda was removed, so there's that. ;)

CQC system is the only one I don't have yet. Maybe one day I'll grind it out to level 50 and prestige to get it if there are new reasons to get it.
