Updated Permit List

Just noticed something: the NGC 2286 cluster used to be unlocked, but it's now locked behind an Unknown Permit again. I was there last November, and the systems I visited then are now locked.

I've just earned the Terra Mater permit at William Bertram Ayres station in Hecate, just handed in a bunch of exploration data there to get allied.

Woh, what the...why is THAT sector, out of all places, permit locked? What's even weirder is that the first system it takes you to when searching in the GalMap for NGC 2286 is only about 1000ly away from the bubble going towards Colonia (NGC 2286 C 42, which does NOT require a permit), but then the rest of the sector is 10,000ly away in the opposite direction? (In the correct position, I might add). It seems to be just an open cluster, not even a nebula, so I have no idea what the excuse could be to permit lock it other than the usual "future content". Thanks for letting us know!

Has anyone found The Brotherhood of Terra Mater anywhere other than Hecate or LHS 137 as they don't have much influence in either anymore ?

I think - based on the tourist beacon - that triton is locked because it appears to be the home of the FED torturers, political prisoners, intelligence service, and things they don't want people to know about.

If a permit locked system's controlling faction loses control of the system who gives out the permits? Do they still give it out or is it the new ruling faction?

It's still the same faction that hands out the permits.
Several permit systems have been controlled by other factions. Jotun, Terra Mater, amd Sirius have all been controlled by other factions and mot affected the permit.

Thanks. Ive been doing stuff with some chaps in a permit system and then thought oh blast what if this messes stuff up for other players. Phew, everything will be fine :)

Alioth indipendents is in PENDING war in HR 5436 system

NEWS: for ALIOTH permit, go in HOLIACAN, there's a compromised nav beacon and a large coriolis. system is controlled by alioth indp. i make 1million of bount in around half an hour and make rank from friendly to allied :D ;)
