Chorel Survey in Crom now sells a rare good, Crom Silver Fesh.

A variant of the synthetic psychoactive drug based on a closely guarded secret recipe. This rare narcotic is unique to Crom, so does warrant a mention in the description. There was a CG earlier in the year to make the rare good available. Though the CG was based in the nearby system of Herthe, to avoid the permit lock in Crom.

HIP 13750 has no station under control of the Dukes of Jotun anymore.
In fact, they seem to control nothing in this system anymore, not even a planet base.

Seems there's a few in the list out of date now. I'll mark my findings but unfortunately don't know which systems the new factions are working from. Apologies in case of any mistakes, these are from my word pad doc I'm working on, which was originally copied from this thread. Please can the main list be updated to make things easier? Sorry if some already have :)

i my understanding, changing control of a system does not change the faction giving out the permit.

recent exampel: sirius. isn't controlled by sirius corporation since almost a year, but permit is still given out by sirius corporation.

You are quoting the controlling factions, not the ones that give the permits. Sorry, but who controls the permit system has nothing to do with the permits.

I doubt it has changed, but maybe it should be tested. This is easy done (unless you have all the permits). For a system you don't have a permit for, go and ally with one of the controlling factions on your list. See if this grants you the permit.

Ah! Thank you both! I previously tried to get the Perigrina permit from some systems but didn't see permit missions in the systems. Thinking back though, it must have been (bad) luck of the draw. I've assumed the controlling faction offers them since then. My apologies and thanks :).

"Kagutsuchi and HIP 19157 do not give out the permit despite being controlled by the faction, but rather is given out in HIP 18609 (I suspect this has something to do with being more than 15LY from the permit system)" .... I'm not sure what would happen if peregrina aristocrats would retreat from hip 18609, but did you check that system especially?

Thanks for the info - that's probably what happened mate. I really can't remember the specific systems now to be honest as it was a few months back. I was flying around working through the list by distance. I remember trying over in Hecate as well where the faction had changed and I didn't see a permit, so I put 2 and 2 together. From there I gave up and worked on unlocking the engineers but only just started back with permits again the other day. I'll start looking through them all again now thanks.

So, I noticed that HIP 48762 is not permit locked, despite what the list in the first post says.

Meanwhile, HIP 87621 still says it needs the HIP 48762 permit.

Sirius does not hold on to Luyten's Star right now. I am trying to get the Sirius permit so I can get the Engineer there and was studying the map and noticed that the Federation holds sway there now. There is no mention of Sirius at all in that system.

For Sirius reputation farm the best known by me places are Ceos and Sothis systems. Federation, Syrius data missions between those 2 systems. Reputation grows very quick plus credits and quite a lot materials as well.

Strongly agree. The systems around Sirius are horrible now, Sirius Corp has control of almost nothing and many of the stations are far, far from the jump point. The 20 mins jonk to Ceos makes life so much easier.

Thanks, but Ive cycled myself to death. I might give up. Plenty of assissination missions or massacre missions, but no permit mission thing so far.

Whats most annoying is that I could have sworn I already had this sirius permit. Pretty damned sure but apparently not according to my panel. Thus I am sat allied with Sirius Corp at Ceos. Ive cycled too many times to count. Is this a bug?
