I see there are 2 Ancient Ruins here - this one's a bit high up though... should i try visit it with a fighter? ;pWregoe BU-Y b2-0 seems to be where the action is at, 1c.
I used to be a dab hand at getting relics into the slot, but not any more!

I suspect a trap, as always, there were reports of lengthening FC jump times as the horde started to head out there last night so I expect once all the destination slots are full the Thargoids will destroy all the stars for 500Ly around trapping everyone.Yes, it's rather interesting. They are telling pilots to stay away from the system ( Wregoe GA-X B3-0 ). Which means they expect everyone to go there and find...what?

Decades ago I was friends with a bunch of Star Trek RPGers and I suggested that as all televised Star Trek was canonical and the cartoon series included Kzinti therefore Known Space was in the canon so why not have them detect the core explosion. So my suggestion about the trap isn’t a new departure.
Well you joined the forums in ’18 so maybe four years ago.You'll probably need to grind for special fleet carrier mats - assuming you take it - in case a new Thargoid ship supermegadicts your jump.

Are they preparing to attack?I haven't made it out to the Thargoid stuffs yet. I got distracted on the way by untouched bios. I haven't heard of anything exciting being reported out there yet, anyway. I'm still headed in that general direction

I may never make it to the Thargoid area, I keep getting distracted.
This time it was a very good distraction, though. I found a system with 2 planets that had undiscovered Stratum Techtonicas. They were even easy to find, and the planets were quite lovely.
I decked my DBX out in the new "Survey" ship kit, and it's pretty cool. The little radar thing even rotates slowly, as if scanning. Plus it has some nice sticky-out bits. A change of pace!
A rather decent payout

Harbinger? I think reincarnation would be the more fitting description...
I remember playing one of the very early 3D iterations (wasn't it a 2D side scroller to start with?)... "Come get some!"
While respawn is typically the preferred term in the “industry”, reincarnation would be equally applicable here I suspect :]
