Newcomer / Intro What are you up to?

as for my xbox controller the sticks are same as above
but i have altered mine somewhat strafing ie lateral thrusters is on the shoulder buttons and and acc and break(forward's backwards for the main thrusters) is on the analogue triggers which works well for FA off ((cold orbiting)and the srv too i find as acts more like a car gas and break pedals when released
primary and secondary fire is on the sticks push down function
and other buttons are targeting and fa on/off which i use like a handbrake on a rally car
pips are on the d pad as per default
So you use an xBox controller too? I thought we were the odd one's, I've gotten the impression that they were somewhat frowned upon. I use it mainly because I'm missing a couple of fingers from my right hand, it's more comfortable for me to use.

cant beat um except for on foot imo as i said in an earlier posting in this thread
for accurate aiming a hard 6 the mouse cannot be beat........
as for movement the pad works as well as a keyboard plus it has a rifle feel about it holding mouse in a forward position and pad to the rear for movement and rifle like trigger feel
but for the ship an srv ya its the xbox pad and voice control

It seems the "flight computer" uses all available thrusters to give you the maximum authority over the vehicle. In FA-off, that's all on you.
Just popping in to admire and salute someone using "control authority" properly in a sentence on this forum.

And note that's it's mildly cheated on high-grav planets - there are some ships where you can hover with the ship level during landing even though the total vertical thrust available when the ship is level is not really enough to do that. (I'd guess the point where it starts cheating is when the ground radar appears and the hover SFX start.) And of course one of the new ships vectors the thrust the wrong way...

These things always seem so creepy, Recepta Conditivus.

Much as I appreciate getting likes and being quoted something went wrong there as that was not my comment, I am the one that just uses FA-Off to fall out of the sky.

Wicked cool moon here, 9 bios and all very lucrative. Osseus Discus.

My Alt has been similarly busy with exobio - deciding to be a bit of a completionist for once with a first discovery 40 biosign system... here are some Frutexa Flammasis 🔥🏳️‍🌈

Psychotropic colors, I see the elusive Fungoida Satesis in the background.

Speaking of Fungoida, i think i might be quitting this completionist thing fairly soon after all... 😜

Quite nostalgic really.

Back around 7 years ago or so CGs quite often suffered from the effects of state change, why the warning was put in the small print, I remember one down in Maia where I had to put guns on the ship I had bought to haul stuff for the CG and join in with others trying to shoot pirates and flip the state so we could deliver stuff for the CG.
The days of Unknown Artefact bombing where I think over probably because Black Market were being disabled at CG stations, but players opposed to the CG would try and flip the state in other ways.

Not been seen much in recent years probably due to the BGS changes since then, from what I have read elsewhere this system was unusually vulnerable due to a very small population.

The Cocijo CG was my first so this is all new to me.
