Newcomer / Intro What are you up to?

So the CG is a bounty thing. Nice. I'm about 8 jumps away in the Krait so I'll try to check it out tomorrow. There might be some nice cash rewards here if you're a newb like me with only a couple of billion in the bank.
It must be my day for water worlds, I just found another system with 3 water worlds and I have found 3 or 4 systems with a single in it. :)

Unfortunately what I am not finding is systems with more than 1 bio, which is what I am actually looking for :(
Head to the nearest port quickly. There could be 15 million quid there.
It was a metaphor, how can I be a murder if I leave escape pods in my wake.

I could always pick them up and give them to Dorn.
Michael Dorn?

No the CG is combat bonds earned from Conflict Zones in space or on foot, bounties won’t count.
I believe the reward for handing in any bonds is 60,000,000 credits double that if you play for both sides, although the Imperial side is lagging and not reached the level for that minimum payout yet. As usual with CGs the higher you rank and/or the better the CG does will increase payments.

I still hope (and fear) that there will be a huge surge of Imp bonds when the CG ends. The problem is that you can only hand in Imp bonds on their megaship, which lacks disembarkment facilities, so you can't pick up on-foot combat missions from there.
As far as payouts go, each on-foot round in one of the medium CZs paid out >1 MCr., so two rounds from each of them put me in the top 75% on either side. I don't expect to stay there, though, unless I put in more effeort. And no, I have no idea where that money came from. You get IIRC 200k for winning the CZ and something like 10k....30k or so for each kill - but I really can't have killed 40 or 50 enemies per round, could I?

Etienne Dorn, he requires 25 occupied escape pods as part of the unlocking sequence, what he does with them I wouldn't know but he has almost everything up to grade 5.
Oh yeah, I wasn't in Colonia long enough to meet him since the Thargoids turned up in the bubble. I'm not even sure if I met him on my original account.

I may re-engineer the Mandalay purely for exploration and head back out there. Though I haven't done surface mining for ages. I'm surprised I even have the meagre raw mats I have now.
