I departed the DSSA carrier in Beagle Point at 10:12 PM on 12/29 and checked out the tourist beacon. While at the memorial one, an NPC Expert ranked pirate in a FDL asked me if I had anything of value; since I had nothing, he left me alone.
Then I landed at Beagle Point 2 for some SRV activity.
After this, I headed toward Oevasy SG-Y d0. I am aware that there is an established route that uses a single 82 LY jump along the way, but I wanted to arrive quickly so I plotted my own shortcut, which can be found here:

Here are some screenshots of the system:
Salomé's Reach during the daytime
and at night.
Contemplating the magnificent desolation that the sights of Salomé's Reach (and any other place of the galactic rim as well) offers....a sky devoid of stars, the knowledge that the bubble is tens of thousands of light years away....the difficulties that the pioneers had to face when there were no engineered ships, no FSD guardian boosters, no jumponium, and a route plotter that could not plot long distances. Yes, I have read about how exploration used to be in its early stages.
Anyway, the objectives of this exploration project have been fulfilled. Now it's time to head home and see how things are back in the bubble.
One thing that I always notice when returning from a long exploration trip is that, after piloting an Anaconda for weeks or months, the Python (equipped with G5 A rated thrusters) feels like a sports car by comparison.
