Danger man,
He's so bad it's a crime.
Danger man,
Come up and see me sometime.
"I got no mirrors around the house because I even scare myself!"
Danger man.

I guess that's why Chuck Norris can't be the Danger Man...“Onlynot even Chuck Norris can scare Chuck Norris”![]()
Was that the origin of the expression Wax on Wax off?I shot Chuck Norris in my last CZ. He was distracted though - his chest was sore from where Bruce Lee had ripped his hairs out.

Question: “what happens when an irresistible force meets an immovable object?”
Answer: “by definition, both can not exist in the same universe”

I admire your patience in mining for tritium......which brings one to the next question: which is stronger, one's intention to extend this trip towards the Formidine Rift with more Tritium ...or my own skills / patience with the current state of mining?
The answer is that on a Saturday afternoon with not much else to do, the latter lasted a good couple of fairly chilled hours and yielded just enough carrier fuel to keep hopping about out here for just a bit longer ...plus a few other goodies that'll be sold towards a proper restock back in the bubble :]

Take down scavs. 9 in the settlement. Ship lands. Now there's 12. Another ship. Now there's 18. And another, and another - 29 scavs hanging on the wall and if one dirty scav should on-purposefullty fall there'll be 28 scavs etc.
So, I get to 28/29. Guess what happened next? Correct. The last piece of work went AWOL. Completely. So I logged.
This time, the infestation was only 18 strong. I was a bit miffed at this point so they all ate explosive munitions from my ship. Mission got updated and I got 5 lots of combatant performance. And it was a right performance.
Presumably there's a loss in there somewhere. I've never looked at it.How does this Fleet Carrier bit work, then? How can all-time profit be lower than "highest profit"?

Yes but it's not net profit, just highest/overall profit... Also, nothing on my FC is set to sell at a lower price than I bought it, so it never made any losses in the commodity market...Presumably there's a loss in there somewhere. I've never looked at it.
Maybe setup bunk beds in a hanger for them to sleep it off, probably drinking Spanada or pruno. The first thing I see is someone who I don't recognise as part of my crew asleep on the command deck!
What am I paying 10MCr per week for?
In fact, everywhere I go I see people asleep. Why?
You might want to keep an eye on "the great pre-upgraded gear sharing is caring" thread on the Oddy sub forum. It could kick off a nice start to your on foot gear collection.I bought Odyssey in the Steam sale earlier this week.
Once I had managed to get ED to work with my controller again, the first thing was to walk around my FC.

Once I had calmed down, I decided to visit my nearest starport, to experience my first concourse.
From here I jumped straight into the time sink which is Apex taxis.
Fantastic! I can now go places and do something else (IRL) until I get there.
What can I pick up from the Pioneer store? How do I stop myself from spending all of my time flying round the bubble looking for that G3 suit with the useful mods?
Well the answer is, don't bother. Pick up what you can straight away, and jump right in.
This is a great idea until you accidentally Apex yourself to a surface settlement whilst still wearing your flight suit.
Talk about a cliff-like learning curve. Needless to say, that trip didn't end well.
Anyway, having spent a couple of evenings checking out irregular markers and crash sites, and at the same time scanning my first biological, I decided to jump into a surface CZ for the first time.
I made a great start, jumping out of the transport without my shield activated, with 3 of the opposition waiting right outside of the dropship.
I'm fairly sure that it was my quickest death since I started ED some years ago.
Despite this, my team won, so I am 10% through the engineer unlock, YAY!
I am now trying to find restore missions, without any luck. It's probably best to try again tomorrow.
Apologies for the wall of text.
My carrier is devoid of people. Apart from the two pilots on the command deck and the Vista shopkeeper, there's noone else around, asleep or otherwise. Perhaps it's time to install a bar... I do have data I could use the barkeep to sell for me.
Could the all-time profit be some sort of average? How does this Fleet Carrier bit work, then? How can all-time profit be lower than "highest profit"?
