Ok maybe not directly at you…
…but pick a vantage point / position yourself so the target is running along your axis of movement (direction you are facing), towards or away - it’s much easier to lead a shot this way than if the target is moving at an angle relative to your orientation ;]
Is that the ultra-absorbant triple-ply with angel-wing prints that is the choice of bug-hunters all over the galaxy? ;p

On a side note, my mercenary progress bar seems to be moving more quickly now I've reached the Deadeye rank. Perhaps it's just my perception. Either way, it's by no means rapid, just... faster.

See, one advantage of a stint in sim racing before my interstellar career took off (sorry) is I'm absolutely fine with brown-trouser moments. I got that out of my system, so to speak.
The downside is I do tend to forget the FAS is a liiiiiiiiiitle bit bigger than an MX-5...
Freezing the loo-rolls is for enjoying a good curry - i prep for battle by taking several deep breaths & then abandoning myself to reckless enjoyment... ;]

While out in the black with my fleet carrier and a Sidewimder for fast exobiology I'm also having a 'core mining is fun' phase. I'm even doing it with a Python on a fairly new alt account that only has grade 3 dirty drag drives due to Prof Palin's 5000ly rule only just being satisfied by coming out here.
I like the fact I'm probably the first to mine in some of these systems, especially as I found a ring that does this, this morning:
3 cores next to each other is rare, but even better is I found a core with the first ping of the PWA when I arrived, found 2 cores next to each other before this and I'm finding a new core after less than 2 minutes of boosting and pinging the PWA.
Maybe RNG luck is with me today, or maybe the largest Benitoite hotspot in NGC 6842 Sector UJ-Q b5-0 1 ring A is a gift from the mining gods that will keep on giving.
@Marvin the Martian are you still in the area and interested in giving this location a try?

Sounds good. Quain did some of that before leaving the bubble and I have my alt account that stays in the bubble playing with a Clipper doing this in Taranis right now.

This is the only time I've used clean drive tuning on a ship. With the grade 5 low emissions power plant with thermal spread you can fly as fast as you want provided you don't boost and the heat stays in the 16% to 18% range. You can still boost to around 550m/s. If you did dirty drive tuning the heat gets closer to 20%, so it doesn't take much to go over and be visible to Maestrom Caustic generators etc.
The 7C Universal Limpet control does well on hull repairs, collectors, research limpets (caustic tissue samples).

I've heard you can just give him a grelic now. I have not verified that, though.
From the Outfitting tab, click OPS, then EXPORT, then click the GENERATE button and it will give you a short link.
