Yes Discord is just enough different to catch me out in a different way every day, hopefully I will have the hang of it before the Colonisation finishes and the expedition heads off.Sorry to bring this one up again - how do I find one of them dudes? I'm in a system that's considered a stronghold of one of the powers, but I can't see a contact anywhere.
I'm also looking into the DW3 thing but it seems everything is being done via Discord. I have an account but it looks a bit weird and unfamiliar. Don't you just love learning curves?

Curious. I created a new account on steam, bought the deluxe edition and now steam attempts to install 8.8 Gb of additional content.

I only use it for Starship Sim - I also am supposed to be on the MSFlightSim discord but no matter what I do it won't "verify" or whatever so that is useless.
I always avoided discord after first giving it a go years ago, only started it again as Starship Sim development basically needs it (kick-starter backer).
Not sure about that. Tried to find the folder the game is installed in but failed.
My SSD space has shunken significantly. Definitely more than the announced 8.8 Gb...
Right click the folder, then left click Properties, that will show you it's size. Also, the Windows Temp folder can get pretty big, it's harmless to empty it and everything is still on you're drive until you empty the recycle bin. There's also Disk Cleanup which can be easily found by right clicking any drive then properties.
Well, clearing the Temp folder freed about 5 Gb. And it indeed looks like the game has been installed another time. There are two folders that are both about 50 Gb tall.
Nonetheless, Janice's sister Morgan has entered the bubble, skipped the on foot tutorial, braved the most aggravating dog fight of her life and is now traversing the Bubble in a Sidey.

That is odd - are there really two separate ED install folders then? The game install should be in its own directory in Steam/steamapps/common iirc…

In the meantime, for old times' sake, I'm buckyballing around Dav's Hope *. Then I shall be off to find some HGE's as I'm really low on military grade supercapacitors. Can't stand being low on mats and finding I'm short of something when engineering. Putting the work in now will lsee me right later
* I still think it a shame they moved it into darkness and away from that mountain.

When the folks at FDev upped the rate of materials as rewards etc., I didn't realise they'd increased yields in HGE's too...

Yes they can be very frustrating now with so many left unclaimed and our bins full.
There ought to be a way of collecting surplus mats and selling them at exorbitant prices on our carrier barkeepers.
Well, looks like I either misread stuff there or something was messed up. As I looks right now, one of the forlders is 42 Mb, the other 52 Gb. And the entire Elite Dangerous folder is 63 Gb.

It's very easy these days to get a inventory/storage completely full very quickly.
