My crew are now on half rations. Tritium is running low, getting hard to find and without fuel, the hydroponic farm is taking too much power. We're down to one frozen block of spinach per day. If this carries on, we'll be eating Diagiuandrian Long Pig soon.

My crew are rejoicing. They don't need to eat each other now: a tritium hotspot has been located and I'm in the mining Cutter plundering the field for every last scrap I can lay my grubby little remlok mits on. Mind you, it has taken over an hour to scratch out just 73 tons of the stuff. This may take a while.

I try to get two jumps' worth per mining session. I have a little in reserve for when times are bad but I haven't told the crew that: don't want them getting complacent - keep 'em lean and mean is what I say!

Should've gotten those job lot frozen Kumo Burgers back before you left the Bubble but noooo, you wouldn't listen.

Of course, you're in an FC and have, I presume, a healthy pool of NPCs to run your various modules, so you should have a decent choice of prime cuts, but still...

That's where you're wrong. The fat is the flavor bit. Too lean they get bland and chewy.

Got OBS working and created a tiny video as a test. Just my first real exposure to the program and it looks quite easy. I'm sure there's a setting or three to adjust, but the vid was quite jerky and at a low resolution, certainly not how I see the game.

Another learning curve to surmount!

I use OBS for streaming, but Bandicam for recording - I just find it easier.
OBS is a GREAT program though - one of these days I ought to learn how to record with it.

I used ge experience for game recordings. screenshots. but you could also try fraps.

Currently on surface MAT farming a regular farm spot. and has a few bits of cargo laying around complete with skimmers target practice.

I use OBS. I didn't have to adjust anything, just selected Game Capture and that was it. For some games I have to use Display Capture, but not with ED.

Sorted the jerkiness and resolution by moving to 2560x1440. Took a quick video where I was using mouselook in the cockpit. When I played the video back, it broke up with a lot of artefacting.

managed to finally make a dent in the engineer unlocks, so far I have
Farseer, Martuuk, Qwent and am in the process of getting some Sensor Fragments for Palin

not looking forward having to mine 500t's of stuff for Selene Jean though, will be my 1st attempt at mining
