Newcomer / Intro What are you up to?

I too am still out in the black, slowly making my way back to the bubble. I'm still 15000LY out though.

Discovered a lovely system today, it had 2 terraformable water worlds and 2 terraformable HMCs. One water world was orbiting the other.

I haven't found any good mining locations so far on my way back. Maybe next jump :)

talk about collection, to get a guardian fsd boost do i need to do the guardians sites ? never done them yet!.usally to far away but now!! the time is near, i draw the final curtain.:)
Yes. Can seem a bit daunting at first. Definately worth doing, very atmospheric.
No spoilers from me, BUT, you need a site specifically for module blueprints.
If you struggle with it, try to find a site in daylight.

And now, the end is near
And so I face the final curtain
.:)
As Speedcuffs says, definitely worth doing. The G5 FSD gets you an extra 10.5 ly jump range!

Two tips, no spoilers:

Get in right close to the site so the below works
Fit a suitable ship with point defence system(s) on top

It's a great thing to do, very different. Can get tense too! Remember to breathe.

One of my favourite things in game and I return to these sites in my DBX occasionally to play the mini-game. Can be hellish find your way through your first few in the dark. There are recommendations way back in this thread for sites tidally locked and always in daylight but they are further out. Worth doing it in daylight if you can imo.

I'm currently in the Coalsack chasing tinfoil numbers.

Anyways, servers down and all...
Having been doing the CG in the 'Nekogami' Corvette, and seeing other folk asking about Vette loadouts, decided to have a look at improving the setup: Note, this is a PVE ship. (only weapons, internals change quite often).

What is she for?
Basically, farming HazRES and CZs.

All laser, no ammo except small Multi Cannon, high capacity/corrosive, a must have for laser builds when it comes to whittling the target's hull.
-Small pulse turret, focused /emissive, to keep tabs on the target, eg, Pythons using heatsinks.
-Two medium gimbal burst, focused/flow control.
-One large gimbal burst, focused/flow control. This I'm going to change to a turret. With the gimbal/hardpoint placement this gets very little time on target anyway.
-Two huge beam lasers, efficient/thermal vent. These are what I'm looking to mess with. They bring down shields fast. Efficient, because that capacitor empties quickly. Thermal vent, well because it's a laser build, gets hot!
What to try out with the huge beams?

Also note the use of focused is mainly for the improvement in piercing, really works well for targeting internals.

I'm mining tritium again. All this shooting of static 'roads isn't good for scout practice. I'll be well out of touch when I get home.

14 jumps to go. 1,000 tritium. Need a little more. Pity carriers can't neutron jump.
if you head towards, yan musa system they have trit aplenty. 40,653 or if i still there punch me a text.:).i know i shifting the stuff ...........at my sell price of 500,000 (reasonable price i think)

How's this for a bug? As I flew away from the planet I got an Orange Sidewinder issue. I came back and found the ship in orbit and unresponsive. I could see the throttle hand move in the cockpit but, no go. Frustrated I checked the menus, they worked, and I saw I could deploy the SRV. Okay then. SRV deployed. SRV started to fall. I'm guessing it would have continued to, but I had things to do and I rebooted into Elite (no Horizons) and flew away.
