I never had a chance to try it. By the time I wanted such a thing, it was gone. Everyone raved about it, though, I do remember that.

What was it?
It was a website at "elitetradingtool.co.uk" - Commander Thrudd created and maintained it, it was a really useful and user-friendly trading engine, much more user-friendly for actual trading than EDDB for example. However CDR Thrudd backed-out in 2017 - offering the site code and database to anyone who could take it over - I couldn't at the time and unfortunately nobody else stepped up either.
Release - Thrudds closing down - anyone able to take it over?
Thrudds (http://www.elitetradingtool.co.uk/) is closing down on the 24th - Cmdr Thrudd has offered the source code and database to anyone willing and able to take it over. I can't possibly do it but I have not seen anything else about it on the fora and wondered if anyone was considering taking...
Finally decided to give Joystick Gremlin a try to replace Thrusmaster T.A.R.G.E.T
Powerful, despite of couple random error on loading profile. Sadly it's really not a general user's tool, one need to be able troubleshoot it via the program log and need to have some coding background to understand what's gone wrong and try to fix it....

Left the search for smear campaigns alone for a while and grabbed the Phantom, Sookie Stardust. Fired up the ole Observatory and am going to see if I can find some gardening to do.

I never ever did passenger work, so made this krait bus. 2 x lvl 6 Bus class 2 x lvl 5 eco class cabins, 64 passengers in total, shield , weapons and a 3b collector.
Just doing group transport in my current sector. private work seems a pain in the......
Working on the jump range engineering, currently above 30ly unladen.

If I recall correctly, sightseeing missions affect exploration rank, and the rest affect trade rank. Unless it has changed since I last did passenger missions, which has been years now. I don't much like them

Rescuing people from burning stations can help Federal/Imperial rank depending who is giving the missions.
Edit Ninja’d by @Codger whose opinion of passengers and their missions I fully endorse.
I have always wondered about the names and regions they give stars, some are completely unpronounceable, they must get a chuckle out of it.
Some of them (a few ten thousand or so) are actual catalog stars with names from star catalogues. For the procedurally generated stars, the sector names are also procedurally generated. Every now and then someone reposts the generation rules, usually over in the exploration subforum.
