3 Words: Tiger Petting ZooHahah I knowBut remember I only keep super friendly animals that don't harm guests or try to escape, so it is fine!
And thank you! <3
Yes! As a walkthrough animal!3 Words: Tiger Petting Zoo
Cool! It reminds me of the Opera House in OsloToday and the last few days I tried something different and started to build a modern looking visitor center (which shall resemble the edges of icebergs a bit) next to the polar bear habitat. It features different viewing areas into the two polar bear habitats, I also want to add a conservation exhibition about climate change. The globe in the middle wil be part of this exhibition.
I've never built a building in such a style but I am quite happy with the first attempt though I still have to cover up a lot of the edges and pieces that stick through the walls.
(Note: the font and the globe are from the workshop)

Absolutely love it. It looks really great. Started on the hilltop area. I perused the animal list for the taiga biome and settled on the pronghorn, not necessarily a mountain animal (I think?) but it has the taiga biome and possesses a tolerance for extreme heat, which is important in my zoo. It's also not a very attractive animal (in terms of rating) so it won't attract tons of guests I think, which is good.Cassowary habitat is finished! It is quite large for two birds, but the space will be necessary for when the chicks arrive. I didn't count on them being able to swim, but it turns out they actually can! So their available space is even more than I intended. Oh well, it just means these dino birds can stretch their legs if they want

Escape by river is prevented with logs. The hilly trail on the left is currently the only available viewing area. However, to prevent clogging of the small path, I made sure to put all of their enrichment on the other side of the habitat. I made them a little wading area and beach on the right side of the river, before I knew these birds can actually swim. But it looks nice.

River view. Left side will be detailed later, when I get to the big food plaza to the left off screen. The water purifier is hidden away. Can you find it?

Main cassowary viewing area, currently inaccessible to guests.

Bridge to allow easy river crossing for the birds and keepers.

Lowest part of the hilly trail, and secondary cassowary viewing options. On the left is the staff path to the water purifier, very pleased with how its hidden away!

Coming face to face with a dino bird...
Up next is the hilltop area! I'm going to decide on an animal to place up there, and then build the hilltop food court.
The giver of tasks is pleased, well doneStarted on the hilltop area. The tunnel will lead to another habitat on the other side of the hill. I will put some antelopes there as well, so I might as well call this Antelope Hill

The pronghorn viewing area. They are my first shy animal in the zoo, so I needed to think about giving them privacy while also allowing visitors a good view. I figured I'd split their habitat in two, separating a front and back side by placing a stable to obscure the view. The pronghorns can decide if they want to be up front or in the back, and can easily seek refuge if the stress gets to them.
The small building in the front will have TVs inside, allowing guests a view of the pronghorns if they are out of sight. I'll place a camera in the stable and another looking out over the meadow in the back. This way, guests can always view the animals, even if they are not standing at the front.

----
"New Zealand Getaway Zoo". My main challenges will be:
- Building elephant habitats (never built for them before) and obtaining the elephant reward (breeding both species in one zoo).
- Building an elephant boat ride (never done a boat ride before).
- Deciding on zoo sections and how to make use of the terrain.
- entrance area - minor detailing left
- tropical area - almost finished
- land of giants
- hilltop area
- Multiple viewing angles from all around the zoo.
- Cool panoramashots.
- A hilly trail that looks down over the zoo, making a beautiful view from both the top and the bottom of the zoo.
Opened my third tundra zoo in franchise mode!Still working on my entrance building and plaza. Progress so far:
