What did you do in Planet Zoo today?

Some truly great creations here and great screenshots since the new DLC.

Speaking of music. A bit about my personal life, I have a bachelors in music production and I plan on making music for my zoos and creating soundscapes for areas. I have experience with composition and sound effects so it should be fun! Just a little extra bit of immersion I could add into my zoos
That sounds awesome.

Well, on my car ride to some well deserved vacation in the country, I played some PZ offline and worked on my sandbox zoo set in Jamaica (haven't named it, yet).

Just added in 3 primates:
  1. Mandrills (1st time I've actually used them)
  2. White-faced capuchins (I love that they're so loud in-game, hearing them screech)
  3. Proboscis monkeys (the ugliest monkeys ever. I love them)
Also, fixed up the Royal Wild Buffet to be nicer, and I'm taking a little break. I'm not sure if I should add 1 more animal, or just spruce up the place and then post it on thw workshop.

List if all the animals I have, in order of placement:
  1. American alligators
  2. Gharials
  3. Lemurs
    • Red ruffed lemurs
    • Ring tailed lemurs
    • Black-and-white ruffed lemurs
  4. Hippopotamus
  5. Greater flamingos
  6. European fallow deer
  7. Southern cassowaries
  8. Komodo dragons
  9. European badgers
  10. Mandrills
  11. Colombian white-faced capuchins
  12. Proboscis monkeys

I've been doing some gardening in Zarpa: many trees from the European area have been replaced. I'm so happy that we finally have Mediterranean trees! I have also changed all the paths in this area with the amazing new path. I came home for the holidays, so I'm using a different computer and the graphics aren't great. Apologies for the low quality.

That sure looks awesome Aramar. I like how your park feels spacious from that picture, but still compact. Good work!

I have been trying to do a new park and it might have turned out to big in the scope, it is not done yet, but so far I can show a few pictures (most of the decorations miss)

My animals haven't seen me for several days.....been too busy building in the evenings (for once) preparing simple eateries. I should brand that! Simple Things! Anyways these are all still WIP but got the basics and theme down.

Avoiding those pesky trademarked names (piano is a blueprint from the workshop).

Also WIP, something to get lost in while you eat

And something a little rustic.

Also something for Down Under (named after my Australia Zoo)

Got desperate because I want to build my new Zoo in Germany but the Game won't let me get it into the correct Position on the Globe. Please let me know if anyone has a Tip how to get it into the Area where I want it to be. Already have another Zoo in Germany and one in France, so this makes it complicated due to Europe being so small and the missing Ability to zoom in on the Globe.
Then I've decided to load my Llama Farm to take a Look at the new Stuff from the Update. The Grapes are just hilarious. In my Opinion they need to be made better. Why didn't Frontier just recolor and shrink the Plastic Oranges from the India Set to make Grapes? But the Grape Vines themselves are absolutely gorgeous and I can't wait to use them once I've figured out how to get the Zoo where I want it. The new Climbing Structures are also really nice. You can never have enough Pieces of natural Wood. Also bought the first 3 Animals for the Zoo I'm going to build (couldn't get a male Pygmy Hippo yet with good Genetics)

Finally! We are back in Wiesenthal!
I made some progress on Saturday and more will follow hopefully very soon, only three days to work and two of them are from Home :D and then I have two weeks christmas vacation. Wooohooo \o/

But lets move on in Wiesenthal.
We went now on the other side of the canal, where I build the octagonal building for the elephants.
I build a "small" animal house next to it with Kaimans and Bengal Tigers.
I love how it looks, I love the decals, I love the nature stone wall, I love Frontier ❤️
It is not completly finished yet, I still have to build the indoor area for the Tigers and the roof is still missing at that point.

Here some pictures.

And as always the overview.

The map is slowly filling up, but there is still a lot to do.
I've left some space down in the south for hopefully a few birds. In addition, the entrance and exit areas for the elevated railway are still missing.

Not today, but a few days ago I started the first section in the rebuild of Unity, "The Kingdom". The Kingdom is one of 7 sections, starting with a Rhino habitat. It's a bit work in progress, as it is still too small for breeding (I play with most welfare requirements on in Unity. It's my creative zoo, no realism, just vibes and fun with all the pieces and foliage).

As tomorrow is my first vaccation day, I HOPE to get some play time. Mind you, creativity needs to flow and there are still busy holidays ahead of us, so no promises are made - but I want to try to come forward with my zoo(s). :D

The Kingdom needs a Tiger🙃 (The Walking Dead Reference🙃🐅)

I worked abit on my "new zoo" today, atleast when I had the upperturnity.
Having vacation is great, but time for the family and even more so the little one, is important! (he loves Planet Zoo, so he actually does play it with me sometimes)

Anyway.

Here is a few pictures. The castle is not done yet at all, but I moved on to make a Timber Wolf habitat (not even close to being done) but I have seen some progression now, I put in some wolves, to better work on it.

It is a circle (The road is perfect, but the actual habitat is not total perfect and I like that it is not.) Here you can see one of the circle sides, the one guest most likely will come to first

The opposite side, not done at all, but there is progression

Seems like I can´t upload this screenshot... Sorry

A overview. Again not even close to being finished But this gives a good view. There is a little mountain section, with a hidden away cave. There is a building, where staff can enter and guest can look in. There are sections with taiga styled plants, tree´s etc.

I absolutely love this Wolf Enclosure. It's really great 👍

Free day for me! Took the day off as I had a minor dental surgery this morning, wasn't sure how I'd feel. I feel good enough to zoo. No pictures today but I'm working on the Sydney Zoo, the franchise I started a few weeks ago. Going back to my bigger zoos is always exciting but there's also something about the newer ones that's also full of potential.

Edit @Sahl that's a really really nice wolf enclosure. and you're right, these forums are great, almost all the posters here are very friendly and helpful. And the inspiration from pictures is fantastic, even if my skill is not enough to replicate as well, there's been so many ideas I've gotten from here that I can "almost" pull off, that I wouldn't have even thought to do otherwise.
