What did you do in Planet Zoo today?

Got done with my wolf habitat today. Built a cabin viewing area using logs and those great glass panels, and then a cave viewing area too on a higher level. I decided to mix and match the real rocks with the new fake ones - couldn't quite get the colours close enough but I ended up liking the effect. The cave is fake rocks, the rest is real, so it looks like the habitat was constructed around some natural rock formations (or at least real rocks were originally used in it) but when they added the cave they used fake rockwork instead.

My next plan is to build two habitats for Himalayan brown bears (one for the male, one for the female and her cubs when she has them). They'll be a stand-in for Eurasian brown bears as I said upthread. After that I might start on an African section but we'll see how I go. As always, I really wish we had white or black rhinos. I might just use the Indian rhino as a stand-in in the meantime anyway.

Started a new place, kind of center of preservation and protection with aquatic and northern species. First animals:

WIP, of course!

This looks so awesome and I'm also hoping for more aquatic Plants
Thanks Urufu1997 - this is part of my entry into the competition - you should see the rest of the enclosure.;) The aquatic plants are so brilliant though and agree - wish there were heaps more - and love the Gunnera Frontier and all of the other amazing plants. :)

Wow, well done! That education display with the penguin "wallpaper" and the polar bear statue looks super realistic :)

Today, I've been tinkering with seals and lighting - This aquatic pack is amazing :) (PS Frontier - could we please have even more aquatic plants - they are terrific)

Truly awesome! You absolutely nailed it with the lighting, those pictures are amazing.

I want to participate in the competition as well, but I don't have an idea yet and I think I need to practice a bit more. But I think I' come up with something until January, last time I participated I had great fun!

I'm excited about the other new Animals but this Time I've started a Zoo with a specific Theme and want to only use Animals that fit into this Theme until the Zoo is relatively big, so it will take some Time for me to see the other Animals

That's what I'm struggling with, too - which is why I was opening so many different parcs the last few days :D But I just can't keep myself motivated in sandbox mode, so I guess I'll return to my tropical parc right now and see if I can build something there.

You should enter as well now - you must . . .(y)😁🌊
I'll change a few Things in my Zoo and then try on a Sandbox Map if I'm able to build it. I'm pretty sure it will look really bad XD
But I'm getting way better with Roofs and other Stuff so maybe it will look at least relatively good

I just added a habitat for the Giant Otter and I love how happy they are! It was a lot of back and forth, because it doesn't alway work to take the water out and put it back in and I had to carefully check for the usable/traversable area all the time. Now it is just meeting the requirements, but I'm fairly content. The swimming animations are gorgeous (only thing they are clipping through is the stone arch) and I just love watching them! I don't have many lags now, but I doubt this parc will survive another water habitat. I think I'll just play for a while and then decide where to continue. I really must practice more with the water body in order to create more diverse areas rather than those giant pools!

😂 I've just started and can already see that it won't work. Maybe I'm currently just too deep into that Forest Theme that I use for my current Zoo and we don't even have the new Roof in the Shape that I would need☹
There isn't a single Roof in the Shape that I would need for it

Decided to open a new zoo, because my current one was set in Australian desert, so penguins and seals would not really fit into it. :)

This time I decided to make a European zoo. Made some good progress on the entrance, but it is still not finished, need to make giftshop, restrooms and stylize the foaliage a bit better, but I am pleased with it so far. Love the new pieces!!

Wow, I absolutely love it. Great Work

I've learned today that I have a special Talent for designing Camel/domesticated Animal Enclosures. The Llama Enclosure I've built was already absolutely awesome and the Bactrian Camel Enclosure I've built today was also great (even though at first I've built it too small. Might start a Thread about this Zoo. Not sure about it yet

Also started to run out of Roof Design Ideas after finally getting good at it 😟
