What did you do in Planet Zoo today?

Great work once again everyone!
@Aramar Great idea with the marsupial road, I escpecially like the wombat area.
@Marvinb Love the decorations of the habitat. Also, female ibex as goats work really well, something which I want to do for a while now, too.
@Swjosdotschka I actually really like the style of the building, the colors of the facade work really well.
Yeah its works well enough as domestic goats for now. It more so looks life dwarf goats, not really like the ones you see in the egypt/middle eastern area, You know the kinda lanky, sloppy eared ones, but oh well

Playing a bit here and there.
(Over the weekend I played a Pokemon ROM hack and only got punshed in my face )

And I made this?

I shall return with pictures when the area is complete, I have been rather generous with space for the primate cages so perhaps the spec. bears may be living in luxury.
Oh how wrong was i, NOPE the spectactled bears are not living in luxury even with combining 2 bear pits into one. My pair of sun bears will showcase the final bear pit:

So even with measuring the bear pits to the dot, 20 metres translated into the game does not work out, this further supports my point the game cannot handle true to life measurements using the metres ingame. Very often i would exceed measurements by 5,10, even 20 metres for certain habitats for them to replicate what the real one is.

Speaking about those cages, the primate cages were a success! The primates (aye aye and francois langur, not shown for obvious reasons) have plenty room to roam around and climb on the climbing frame. Still hurts displaying animals in very obvious cage habitats compared to my usual naturalistic tree based habitats. For those wondering, yes i used the twilight shingle roof to pair with the chainlink barrier.

As someone who has made a pokemon rom hack before, i can tell you that was 300% the persons intention who made it. Im still wiping to my first gym in half of my attempts
I also really love the shot, it looks like it could be lifted from a real picture, i especally love the circular planters!

Really? That is so cool! I'm new to this (I played Bloody Platinum and Uranium many years ago, but that doesn't really count) It always looks so easy when other people play these games. But maybe it's also because I always play it when I watch the Regionals, maybe I should concentrate more on the game. ... and then I'm suddenly wiped again by random trainer number 5 with an Eternatus and I'm like, "Well Dreepy, let's go!":ROFLMAO:(y)

Thanks! And it's really easy to do.
Next comes the employee area. Of course everything is ECO friendly. This will essentially be a self-sufficient zoo. Food, electricity, etc. are all generated by the zoo itself. I came up with the idea because they installed photovoltaics on our roof last week (and our heat pump is coming tomorrow!) I actually think it's a really nice idea. (and because I always have problems choosing animals, this time I want to leave it to you, that's the plan...)

Looks great! Maybe try to add some decals to the road so it doesnt look so factory fresh, could be a nice touch :)
Normally I would sey "Yes", but in terms of performance (and because I really love to spam around exponentially with bison grass) I'll leave it as is.

Made some progress on my entrance plaza area. Still looks a little empty so im gonna add some more seating opportunities, sign etc to bring it to life. But genereally im super happy with how its turning out.
Also realized i had an older version of my nighthouse safed as a blueprint, so i added it here aswell. So there is atleast some parts of the first zoo on the nile still alive :D

That sign is awesome! I love the pyramids

Didnt do much today, only started building a clasicall building. Many zoos here in germany have once been part of a rich persons land, with mansions often being found somewhere in them so i wanted to give a shot to one. Doesnt really look like one but it also doesnt look that bad so maybe it will be part of the new entrance or just a fun building on the side of the zoo to exist. Main inspiration was from zoo wuppertal, but i kinda failed there, so if you guys got some nice idears or feedback, id gladly take it!
