What did you do in Planet Zoo today?

While were on suggestions, i think the bark pieces from the tropical pack would look super cool as the background for the sign hanging over the entrance to the area :)
Oooh great idea, thank you! I need to go back and add a lot more detail and signage so I'll try that when I do :)

I love Sundays. I did some work on my woodland walk. I want you to have the feeling of going deep into the forest for this one, meeting lots of European forest creatures along the way.

I built a hide to overlook red deer and wild boar:

Love this handsome fellow:

Around the bend is a badger set. If you can't find them in the meadow you might see them behind the dark glass in their den, or in their burrows which are linked up to screens.

Following on you can put your feet up at the fallow deer picnic site:

Finally I started a little farmyard, chickens first:

This will be added to with some more barnyard animals. I'm also going to move my foxes down here. The path will fork after the picnic site, so you can go deeper into the woods to find the foxes, I'll also add a wolf habitat down there and another large carnivore, I haven't decided what yet.

Or you can take the sunny path up into the farmyard and finish up in a playground next to some friendly reindeer.
All that looks really good, maybe you can house peafowl with the chickens?

After struggling with, building and deleting a bunch of versions of the exterior of the aquarium and tropical house i had planned for this zoo, i just scrapped the idea of trying to come up with one of my own and stole one from an existing one and mostly recreating it. Not finished yet, but its finally one im happy with :)
Bonus points for everyone who recognizes it.

This does look familiar, I feel like I've either seen others recreate something similar or I've seen pics of it

Hmmm I don't know, is it at Henry Doorly?

I made a red panda enclosure

Plus I added a thin beam along the top of the netting around the Pallas' cat enclosure which makes it look a bit better

EDIT: This started out as a mini-ish zoo with only European animals, plus the Przewalski's horse. But then they showed us the Pallas' cat and markhor so I had to include them. And once I included them I had to add the Amur leopard and red panda... So it's not so mini anymore.

I think Zebras (your Zookeepers will thank you 😂🤣) and Springbok would fit nicely in there.
😑 Still annoyed by the Fact that we can't properly keep White Rhinos and Cheetahs together

I think warthogs would go nicely in there. They are very commonly found near white rhinos in the wild, and they are easy to match terrain needs with those rhinos and ostriches in the game (they're all okay with plenty of soil; the larger grazers need more long grass).

Thank you both very much. Great suggestions. It would have be a 3rd species of the smaller variety as the habitat is meant to be small. And yes good call about the Cheetah's. In this habitat of course they would dine well on my Ostrich's :ROFLMAO:

Now you can add the tortoise and/or the dikdik! I think the warthogs would be best though.

I think I'm going to start a section in my zoo ready for the dikdik and tortoise. I'm looking forward to seeing them in the game.
