So I was working on my new city zoo, and I wanted to experiment with the entrance for a bit. Just wanted a modern looking building, that seems like it would have been built in the late 2000s or 2010s, so I took some inspiration from the Potawatomi Zoo's entrance, a boxy looking building. Great cool built part of the walk through area, and then I move on to place the sign on top, and get upset that the noto font pieces are a little too big, so I merge them and try to make them look weird and blocky, and while I was working on the “zoo” part and added a bit to it, and I discovered that it sorta looks like the bottom half of a 4 legged animal walking, like and elk, bear, or a wolf
So I decide to see if it would easily fit into the shape of a polar bear, as it's already white and I didn't feel like making antlers for an animal we don't have. I mess around with it and try to make it blocky (didn't look great), then I make it curvy and add a line over the rest of it and attach it to the base, added some colors and cleaned it up and boom. Accidentally discovered and made the coolest zoo sign I've ever made
I might clean it up a bit but I don't want to ruin it yet. I also don't know what to do yet because I'm still struck by how amazing this turned out
