Work on the colonial plaza for this section of the zoo continues and it is starting to take shape and look a lot more cohesive. No heavy work on interiors yet (and tbh i won't work on details any time soon, once i finish the main buildings i want to finally move on to the layout of the habitats). Only the train station is missing now, but i have found i really nice real life inspiration that would work great for the style i'm going for! (and is not as complicated as these other buildings, i just have to figure out how i'm supposed to set up the train station to actually work lol never used rides before).

Anyway here are some pictures.

Having the conservation pack now available on console has been so great! I love the building pieces. Probably my favorites in the game. The aquilaria tree is gorgeous.

I needed a building for two custom toilet blocks, so I put together two of the in-game blueprints to get the shape of the building, pulled them apart a little bit and then added on. Ended up with a little eco-toilet with an attached groundskeeper maintenance shed.

I love it, I have not seen a zoo with this style yet, that is so cool.

Wow, this is so original and well made! It's a beautiful style, I love the stained glass and mosaic details!

Very pretty building! Nicely balanced and I agree, the style from Conservation pack is one of the most inspiring in the game. But I always struggle with creating organic shapes such as waves.
Well done!

That's exciting! Can't wait to see what species you make 😀

Here the before and after of my building time today. The island for the Lar gibbons and Asian small-clawed otters is finally surrounded by fences and other ways to prevent them from leaving. In the front you can see the building where the otters can go to. The gibbons will have their indoor shelter in the dome. On the left you can see the avairy finally getting shape.

Started rounding up alot of the backstage/zookeeper stuff ive made for recent builds and i intend to combine them into a blueprint pack for the workshop. Figured this sort of stuff could be handy for people who wanna breath some more life into their zoos without having to spend alot of time on it.
Anyone got any ideas or requests for what else to add?

Today I did some building. Put some extra details in the parts I already had, but also added the African part of the grand central building. It is not finished, so these are not the outer lines of the building, but it are the outer lines of the main exhibits of the section. The only still missing are the exhibits for the puff adder and desert horned viper. I also have reserved some space for the Asian steppe section, which will be most likely a large exhibit with bactrian camels and Przewalski's horses and Pallas cats. I'm thinking of making an elevated exhibit behind the camels/horses with snow leopards.

Also on the left side of the picture the African section will be build. Today I also had the idea to add a North American part to the desert building... Oh and also above number eleven a section with capybaras and Colombian white-faced capuchin monkeys. Lets hope my graphic card likes these ideas as well!
