What did you do in Planet Zoo today?

I managed to finish the African Pinguin habitat today, just need to add the pinguins in :)

Pretty basic stuff, but I played around with building sets to try and approximate some modern Mission Revival type architecture and created a new train station. It's kind of plain, but maybe I'll add some planters or something.

I should have posted in the "I learned" forum when I finally discovered the little grid thingy when you click a particular station that allows you to actually build directly on the station grid instead of trying to make a gridded station building freehand and having it come off cattywompus.

I saw an earlier post by someone who made some cool buildings by somehow overlaying bricks and plaster or something, so it looked kind of like old adobe with the bricks showing through the whitewash, but I haven't been able to figure out how they did it.

I went back to the European section of my zoo and filled one of the two habitats that I had left empty waiting for new animals. I've created a wolverine habitat (using the binturong) and I'm surprised that this habitat looks good for a wolverine, but fulfills all the needs of the binturong.

Added a Alligator Enclosure and a Grizzly Bear Enclosure to Arizona Western World. I'll probably also add Enclosures for Cattle and Horses but first I'll need to finally build that Wild West City near the Entrance

Yep... i did it again and started a new Zoo (with the very creativ name GEO Zoo)
one day it should be a modern city zoo. In the background you can see a lake i want to try to adapt the zoo to this. This time i even made a rough plan. I hope that this time I will stay on the ball and not lose my desire again after 5 enclosures xD Fingers cross
Here a quick overview.

I used the billboards as a floor texture for the first time. I think it's a shame that they reflect like that, but i just hope that maybe a few more building pieces will come that can be used as a floor cover.
For the zoo gate I used the lion gate from Berlin. I have to say, I like it pretty much. I still have to come up with something for the pedestals of the two pillars, in the original there are two lying lions on it. Unfortunately, the statues that we have are too small and that looks really stupid ... well, let's see, they may stay empty for the time being.

The Gate looks cool. Which Parts did you use for it?

Got up to 15 Bairds tapir babies in the community challenge. A little low for what I usually try to do, but I had them in my south east asia dlc zoo (so I could watch and play with the other animals while contributing), and some of the other animals have much quicker birthing times, that slowed things down. Still enjoyed it though!

I did get carried away with the blue - love this new feature though :) The area is called Crystal Springs - Perhaps Blue Turquoise Springs would be more apt. Or Nuka Cola Quantum River Springs . . . And really wish we had underwater tunnels with glass roofing, without having to put earth under the structured walkway, like I tried - would be so cool.

I absolutely love this Feature too. It's really great. So much more Creative Freedom just because of this.
There's a Glitch that makes it possible to build Underwater Tunnels, so I assume we might get it as a official Feature when we get a real Aquatic Pack. It's a absolute must have in a big Reef Tank with Sharks
