What did you do in Planet Zoo today?

Completely redid the shelter for my ibex, what once was a brick block is now an abandoned church!

They also have full access to the roof!

On top of that, I also made a small cafe and with that my entrance is now finally complete!

No idea if the connection of a broken church and a goat (like in the devil) was intentional, but i think its awesome

Let's start our visit to the inside of the penguinarium of Ovonia park! The main feature is the large fully-indoors king penguin habitat. Visitors can see the penguins above water from the entrance level, but they can get downstairs to get a closer view undewater too.

I'm probably going to copy that simple double-decker design for my next underwater view house 👏

Today i didnt have much time and just waited for something, so i just did an hour of gardening near my entrance.
It also was the day where i found out that the wisent traversable area is better then both the bison and the swans, so to make sure that my swans can free roam i have to accept that my wisent can aswell, but with no enritchment outside their habitat that hopefully wont be much of a problem.
But hey, my swans can now free roam a bit further and can go across, under and around the bridge, so thats nice.
I wish we had some more ducks i could add to them but for now the fact that anything is roaming here alone allready made it much more fun to back fill this area and decorate everything around the bridge up to the memorial statue.
I also noticed that my nature game improved alot, as im building faster and better then my older nature scenes, which is quite nice
But yes, Swans are goated, cant wait for ducks, Quak

How does the wisent have a better traverseable area than the swan? 😄

The habitat barrier are a bunch of logs sticking out of the water in a small river.
This held the bison inside just fine, but the wisent has this incredoble power unlocked called jumping and just leaps across them.
Meanwhile the birb needs atleast one log submerged to swim over cause they do not have unlocked the ability to long jump (yet).

The closest I'll get near anything animal related is stage 2 of my AC blueprints, specifically these vents known as gooseneck vents and whirlybird vents. The second stage again has probably around 60 different small vents to the largest wall fans because why not lol

These curved vents do kinda look like a goose neck, maybe one day we might get an actual goose to compare.

10 different versions of one of the most common roof vents would be the whirlybird vents. Rotating the gutter pipe connections was pretty difficult to get the alignment just right without too much overlap. Behind the whirlybirds would be large pipes and huge wall fans for... something I'm not too sure. Using industrial factories for inspiration is probably not the best for zoo buildings.

The next part of the petting zoo area of Biopark is done, the large walkthrough enclosure for Skudde sheep [an old German breed] (female dall sheep) and African dwarf goats (female ibex). Last part of this area to come is the "wooly pig" (wild boar) enclosure which outlines you can already see on the overview below.

I think between 1000 and 800 square meters.
Fossa I would combine with the Lemurs in a Madagascar House.
Caracal could work, I must check how much space they need.
Dromedarys I have already.

Yeah, then caracals should be good. Maybe even also a cheetah.
