What did you do in Planet Zoo today?

Another group of animals missing in Ovonia Park were the tortoises/turtles, but fear no more because the 4 species are here too!

Slowly forgetting planet zoo is about animals, I improved the look of the truck by lowering the cabin to be more authentic to the real truck (the classic peterbilt 379 was used) and included a flatbed trailer for use in the future rentals themed blueprint. Often I found large air conditioning units found on trailers in zoo backstage areas so this pack will address that area. I may even use this as a testbed for a dedicated urban scenery megapack if this proves to be popular.

Pictured here is one of the larger chiller units with the connection pipes cut off, found in travel mode with the trailer straps attached.

Man this looks great! What are the wheel made of?

I might be a bit off topic here but I'm seeking for help (and it's still related to what I tried to do in PZ today).
I downloaded some nice music to put in my zoo and I converted all the mp3 files to flac to make sure that it will work in game. Then I put all the flac files in the Planet Zoo/UserMusic file. Once in game I can see that the files are there but when I choose one in doesn't make any sound while an already in game music/sound perfectly works. I clicked on the refresh button proposed in game but it didn't change anything.

Anyone can help here?

Problem partially solved. Some music work, others don't.

Fire engine is practically done! I later noticed that I made a water pump/canon thing which actual Rosenbaur Panther doesn't use, but as I like the pure aesthetic of it, the pump will stay.

…I spent too much time on him.

This looks great, which pieces did you use? I’m guessing it is based on Bruntsfield Primary School.
Bingo! I can't help being really inspired by the Edinburgh architecture, even the most random buildings.
I was torn between Bruntsfield School or another building right at Bruntsfield Links for my historic Zoo administration building and eventually I went for the former.

I'll double check when I get back in PZ but obviously the main frame is Twilight's masonwork wall set. Then a combination of a lot of the smallest North Africa plaster bricks (mainly for windows), lots of classic roof trims and limestone trims, some twilight door framing/panels iirc and then some random pieces (mainly classical theme) here and there for the balconies, wall decorations etc.

PS: and of course, a pretty decent amount of grunge decals!

I always forget about the masonwork set, probably because it doesn’t come up when I search stone or brick.

Always amazing to see the creations on here! Not putting up pictures because I'm not being that creative at the moment, but starting a new franchise zoo, "Small Wonders" which will focus on the smaller side of the animals we have. I'll be using exhibit animals too. I've only placed two exhibits thus far, and have worked out my entrance path, and initial staff buildings, drink shop and toilet. So no pictures until I at least get some more things in to actually look at.

I replaced the crocodiles wih spectacled caimans in the tropical house, so the building now keeps both caimans, cassowaries and Komodo dragons. The crocodiles have moved to a new facility that also will house our first and only mammal in the zoo!

The interior of the building is quite classic and minimalistic, but I like the waterfall with the croc.
