What did you do in Planet Zoo today?

Predator Plateau is nearing completion….finally. It’s quite large so I’ll share it out over the next few days.

After a brief "without-PC" phase, I'm back and currently building this huge mixed african savanna habitat. Each animal species theoretically has its own stable, haha. It's a shame there aren't any items that prohibit certain species from entering certain areas. Well, we can always pretend, right?
By the way, I'm not looking forward to putting bison grass in this enclosure  Even though I have a new PC, I don't think he'll love it.

I wanted to add a reptile house to my zoo and got an idea a few days ago, so starting to work it out.

It contains a terrarium for the green iguana, two for the boa constrictor and three "smaller" ones for Amazonian giant centipede, Brazilian wandering spider and titan beetle. It will also contain an exhibit for the Cuvier's dwarf caiman. The green iguana/boa constrictor is as good as finished. For the caiman I want to do something with planks/wood and for the three smaller ones, I want to appear to look even more small with viewing circles.

If you want to make the invert terrariums smaller you can relatively easily do that with a fake backwall mad of mulch, rocks or similar

The Predator Plateau section of Pine Thicket Wildlife Refuge is home to bears, wolves, foxes, and big cats. Today, I’m sharing all the big cats. They make up the central quadrant. Each habitat has overlook viewing from the main walkways, lower elevated platforms that get the guests “inside” the habitats” as well as underwater viewing.

Thank you, kindly. ☺️ I have a YouTube channel but it only has 1 planet coaster video and 3 short zoo visit videos. I don’t know how to do all the recording, editing, voiceover work. lol.

I've just finished the habitat for the capuchin monkeys and armadillos.

I also filled the entrance area of the building with life. On the left site I've created an exhibition about the history of the building (opened as a pachyderm house in the 19th century and was closed in 2015 for renovation, so it eventually reopened as the South American house in 2018).
On the right site is an educational area about South America and the destruction of the Amazon rainforest.

Looks really nice! And veery spacious for such small critters.
And I think I know which TV show you are referring to😂
Thank you! Yeah, maybe i should make the outdoor space a bit smaller. The Hitbox of the porcupine is insanly big! One thing I really hope will be fixed with PZ2 is the hitboxes. Some of it is so stupid. Look at the door, the porcupines are just getting through... Zebras need the same size...
Have you seen the series? Unfortunately, I only saw the last two episodes. Do you happen to know (if you've seen it) which zoo that was from?
