What did you do in Planet Zoo today?

I've had this Problem too at the Beginning. If you decide to use a Educator again, try to place a Staff-Room so that every Enclosure is approximately in the same Distance from it. The Problem with them is that they don't run when they are late🙁

Like I said previously, I strongly believe that this will be modified a little bit in one of the next updates, because I doubt this is intended. And I oppose placing staff rooms all over the place for just one person :D

Have never shown much of my work before, so trying to get the hang of good screenshots. So haven't build much today, more just been trying to find spots that look finished. So here is a few pics from Porosus Park

Looks very good. The Path on the first Picture looks like it was extremely difficult to get it like that 🙂👍

Thank you! It has been a while since I did that path, so I don't really remember how. But now a big part of it works like only 2-3 attached pieces, so if I want to chance it or accidently delete it, I will be in trouble. Where the random rocks are on the path, there is some gaps I haven't found a creative way around yet.

I agree, it looks really nice!

I have to jump in again because I just had my very first baby seal and I have yet to recover from the cuteness overload. I mean... AWW?! And all the other females are pregnant as well, so I'm expecting even more cuteness soon :D Seriously, I find them even cuter than the penguins. Fluffy babies! Don't think I'll do anything other than watching them until they grow up.

😆 I already gave them Contraceptives multiple Times because they breed a bit too much

I don't know why you're so badly stuck on that idea when you've been told many times that you're wrong.
It's a Timberwolf so of course it's a American Subspecies and the Arctic Wolf is also American. If they would've intended it to be no specific Subspecies they would've just called it Wolf

You are wrong. As I explained to you many times already "timber wolf" is just a common name for the grey wolf, and the scientific name is the generic Canis lupus, and the in-game map shows its range covering Europe and Asia as well. Just because you don't like it doesn't make it not true. Even more telling is the fact that if it was originally intended on being the Northwestern subspecies, it was clearly deliberately changed so it could be used more broadly than that. Honestly explaining this to you is getting exhausting. You're being deliberately obtuse about it and you have a major bee in your bonnet over it for pretty much no reason.

Well, so all my adult seals had to move to the trade center because it turned out I was a little too enthusiastic and they were eating more fish than I could pay for :D Luckily, I managed to stabilize my finances by letting more guests in for a while and set up another breeding programme with exhibit animals. Now everything is working well, I also sold the seal offspring and am now doing some cosmetic stuff around my staff buildings while saving some more money.

I'm looking forward to adding seals. I've actually decided to cap off the side of the zoo I'm currently working on with a polar bear habitat, and then I'll move across to the other side and see where it takes me.

After working through the new animals in sandbox for a bit, I finally put the first of the species down in franchise - surprisingly not the penguin, but the grey seal. Those sea puppies are so cute! Only I didn't get to do the habitat like I wanted, no underwater viewing. I had hoped to have half of the habitat with higher land terrain and half water so that the water half would be below water level even while the path was on ground level, and have the keeper gate on the land side. But even with working with the terrain on the land side, the keeper gate wouldn't place correctly and I had to settle for just having the water like a normal lake or pond below ground level with no underground viewing (for now, I can always lower the paths.) I'm not a building wizard but I was at least happy that everything was accessible to my seals on the first try!

Which Lights did you use? Maybe I can at least place some of them between the Plants
I think that an image will explain it better than me ;) The "ball lights" are almost just decoration as they don't generate enough light. The real illumination comes from the others (sorry, I don't know the exact name of those objects in the English version of the game). I still need to play more with the lights until finding the right atmosphere.

Many awesome creations lately!
It's great to see this new influx of willingness/enthusiasm to play the game again and people showing their creations after the Aquatic pack. I really hope this lasts more than with previous packs, also amongst content creators. I don't want another 1-2 dry months without meaningful activity and creations.

My case is kinda of funny cause I'm quite inspired now but not particularly because of the Aquatic pack (in fact, I haven't even used any of the pieces or animals yet). I keep working on my humble zoo with European and African species. Today I'm showing the only habitat I've built in the European area of the zoo. It should house fallow deer or red deer but reindeers are taking their place.
I will stop there until we get more European animals: I don't want to just use wolves and brown bears and call it a day. So I'll continue with the African area which should be more consistent.

Looking awesome, random goat! Honestly, I have trouble starting the game, because I feel pressured using the aquatic stuff, but for whatever reason do not have the patience yet. I crafted the whole weekend, avoiding PZ and PZ content. I hope to be back in game when my holiday starts on tuesday.

Don't feel pressured - do what I did! Build a bison habitat, then a wolf habitat, then two brown bear habitats, then try and fail to built a tropical house, and then use one of the aquatic animals. 😂

That sounds like a perfect plan 😅

I'm currently re-building a scenery of one of my favourote children series (for the english speaking people it might be "Emil of Lönneberga", for Germans it's "Michel aus Lönneberg"). It's a swedish story by Astrid Lindgren and kind of a small farm. I plan to integrate reindeers and just rebuild some of the small buildings to do baby steps of overcommingthe fearof building again. (The fact that everyone can build such nice underwater viewing habitats and I can't basically throughme back to my PT beginnings and messed with my selfesteem).

If anyone is interested, google "Katthulthof" to get some impressions.
