Why not set up a new player group for people who want to play the same way.
This has been really successful for the PvE groups (Mobius springs to mind).
Why not have an Anti-Ganking Group?
We have on already. Its called the rest of us.

If a wing of players interdicts you, expect nothing but getting shot at, as that's all that will happen usually. The Code, CTRL, ROA, etc, they don't care about anything but getting a kill, if it takes 20 of them to do that, well, they'll send 20 and brag about how badass they are. When you point out that 20 to 1 odds isn't exactly fair, they'll feed you multiple lines about stuff that has no bearing on the fact that they actually suck horribly, hence requiring 20 to 1 odds, but instead call YOU a whiner and so forth. Oh, and don't forget the always tossed out there 'What do you think the Dangerous in Elite Dangerous stands for!'...which actually has nothing to do with PvP at all and they know it, but hey, why let little things like facts get in your way!
You'll be able to tell the REAL PvPers in Elite Dangerous pretty easy. They will not have a Conda or Python loaded to the brim with SCBs, that's your first clue you've encountered an actual PvPer and not a ganker. If they are in a wing, they'll actually open communications with you and offer you a fair fight, not just immediately open fire you without a word.
Good luck finding those real PvPers however, I've yet to actually encounter a single one and I've killed some players who tried my mettle, funny combat usually, to me at any rate, I'm sure my victims didn't find them amusing however. I don't get bothered very often however, as when I'm in the bubble I do tend to fly combat vessels, no SCBs however, those are for the unskilled who need to use multiple Pythons and FDLs to take out those ever so deadly Sidewinders and T6s. Funny thing, most of those groups make a lot of noise about how badass they are, how they'll just kill anyone who flies into their system, and yet I've never had them even look sideways at me when I've flown through in my Clipper, and I'm not alone in this observation, seems those of us who fly around in something that's armed and dangerous, we're invisible to them, but man oh man can they spot an unarmed T6 or Hauler the MOMENT it enters the system!
So, you jump out of Witchspace into a system and start accelerating to a space station, when all of a sudden you get interdicted and pounced upon by a wing of 3 players! 3 on 1 right? Where is the sport and chivalry in that? The thrill of one-on-one combat should be the rule for every player who wants to engage in player vs player combat (fair enough, player vs NPC is different because it's the game mechanics). Are players so cowardly that they need to group together to attack a solo player? Do they need to "hold hands", paint their spaceships yellow (or pink if they are a big girl's blouse) and probably have a half-pint of Shandy ready on their computer desk to cool themselves down, just in case things get a bit uncomfortable?
Come on players! Haven't you heard of chivalry? Did you ever see three knights jousting against a single knight? No, because it is cowardly and not sporting! Fair enough, if it was one wing vs another, then it would be chivalrous, but ganging up and picking on a solo player is just not on—it's the lowest of the low!
So, can I make a plea to all players to respect chivalrous standards and only attack 1 vs 1?

Chivalry died in the late 18th or century, I believe. It is unlikely that people in the E D Universe of the year 3300 even recognize the term.![]()
That's not true. If you ask for a 1vs1 every RoA will accept that. Most of CTRL and Code will do that too. By the way, we do not fly only Condas and Pythons, because these ships are to slow and it would be to easy to escape![]()
Do you really really think that an "armed and dangerous" Clipper is really that scary? With the groups that you mentioned, a Clipper would be a light snack at best. Most likely you were not interdicted because you were not trader fit. You are not being interdicted because you are some big scary clipper with gimble weapons and weak shields that would be alphaed in 3 seconds. You are not being interdicted because you are not trading, therefore have no cargo, therefore a waste of time to pirates. Standard policy for pirates are to not waste time with combat ships unless they really want to start something. Go for the cargo, get in get out, grab the next target.
This community amazes me. You pirate ships, therefore you are a "griever coward" for going after unarmed ships. You leave the non-trader ships alone because it's a waste of time, but now you are still a coward for not engaging with some noob combat ship. You engage a noob combat ship, but now you are a coward and griever for killing ships and not pirating.
If you really want to entertain how badass you are, please bring your Clipper to Kaushpoos. I'll give you the advantage and use my Viper. Unless your bark is indeed worse than your bite.
Most of the groups you mentioned have plenty of videos out there engaging in combat with equal ships on each side, often 10+ ships on both sides. Either that or outnumbered. Most of the ganks that do happen don't even have anything to do with these groups, but people like you will just pull their names from a hat every time this kind of event happens. That is your only defense. It's amazing that with all the crying going on here that all these names cannot assemble a combat wing or 2 to clear the system. At the first CG for Kaushpoos it took minimal organization from real PvPers to combat other real PvPers. Meanwhile, folks like you are crying and puffing their chest on the forums.

Right back at you.

No, he's right. There has been chivalry in the past. I'm afraid it might be you that requires the history lesson![]()
There's been individuals who engaged sometimes in chivalrous behavior in battles, but it's never been a wide-spread culture-wide thing, at any time or place. The noble knight or samurai or whatever, treating his enemies fairly and only accepting fights on equal terms, has ALWAYS been the exception. Usually because they're pretty quickly killed off by more practical people.![]()
And entire groups of people... Remember during World War One, there'd often be football matches in No-man's Land at Christmas.
Ha, I thought I wrote in "and rarely even whole groups". You are correct though. Although I'd argue that the WWI example is less about being chivalrous and more a combination of the groups involved having no real major problems with each other, sharing much of the same cultural values, and just wanting to take a break from the carnage.
I take your point, but I think it falls under the category of chivalry. You're absolutely right, they were taking a break from the carnage and shared the same cultural values. But it all relied on everyone agreeing "Yeah, let's not kill each other for the next few hours". Wouldn't take much for a few bad apples to cause a massive problem - hence I see it as chivalrous.![]()
