What type of controller will you be using for Elite Dangerous

Ive order same stick you are using, does it work well in Elite?
And can you play whit the stick whiteout the need to use the keyboard at all,
So you can handle all menus and stuff from the stick?
Yep it works pretty well (well it does for me). You can map the (ten) buttons out pretty much how you want it to be. For the menus I use the PoV button to scroll around with. The stick has pitch, roll and yaw while the throttle also has left-right lateral movement (handy for strafing). The keyboard will still be needed for other functions in game so the stick is not a complete replacement but will do the job of flying while in game.

For now I have a Thrusmaster X.

But would very much like to try force feedback, if anyone has either a Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback 2 (red), or Saitek Cyborg EVO Force Feedback they would like to sell me :)

Do please let me know.

X55 Rhino, ships monday from mypilotstore.com . They got a surprise early shipment and if you are looking for one id highly suggest going now or wait until the 28th when receive another shipment. Ive had this stick reserved for 2 months. lol

Msffb2 as the main stick, x52 pro throttle, with the x52 stick as a button bay, and saitek rudder pedals with track ir, as I do with flight sims (I hope).

I've been using a Logitech 3D Joystick in my right hand and a Razer Tartarus (17 key keypad with directional stick) on my left but seem to struggle to hit anything with a joystick. I seem to be much better using the Xbox 360 pad. May be out of practice as I've not used a joystick in years but use the pad a lot.

an ancient Nyko airflow, Track IR5, Power grid on I've not decided yet, and and old dell keyboard.

So I currently use a T1600M. I ordered a CH Throttle to complement me for the 30th.

Now my question is, it worth it to upgrade to a CH fighter stick and make it a complimentary set? Will I be fine without twist rudder like I have on my T1600M?

I will be flying with my Logitech G940

And hopefully in the near future wearing a rift as well.

I algo have a G940, but I can't set it up properly. It seems that the game thinks the throttle and joystick are the same controller, as when I map the throttle, it does with the axis of the joystick :(

How did you tackle this problem?
