Why are player interdictions so impossible to evade?

Get in contact with a friendly group and practice interdictions, with crime reporting off so you don't get each other in trouble. Also, the attacking ship has the advantage of seeing which way your ship is pointing and so they can more easily predict and adjust for the weird pull of interdictions. The victim just has a circle and crosshairs to chase around with no warning or hint as to which direction the escape vector is going to shift. I have spent a considerable amount of time on both sides of the interdicting conflict, and I certainly prefer being the aggressor. It is, by far, easier to win when you are the predator. Of course, I'm sure your are aware that different ships handle better than others in supercruise. This also plays a large part in your success.

I never played in solo mode as I found it more thrilling to play with the possibility of being destroyed by real players. But now that I have a fully engineered Anaconda, I can go get a cup of coffee and come back before anyone can destroy me, except for space stations, the can kill me in a few seconds...Befor the rule changes and fines, I used to hang around the newbee systems and insta kill players, but I dont want the big fines so dont do that anymore.

I have about a 90%ish success rate at evading NPC interdictions. I have been interdicted by three players that I can recall, and all of those were failures, despite me being close to perfect.
Kind of severely disheartening that even if am perfect I'll still lose an interdiction, only to be instakilled the moment I try to run away, whether or not I submit.
Honestly, I might just stick to solo play exclusively just on that fact alone.
jump in a type 7 fully loaded in solo get interdicted every frikkin system then come back here and tell us you have a 90% escape .

Its pretty mich like ur playing solo these days anyway as no one attacks you anymore with the big fines and bounties. I only see other cmndrs in passing and just give them a quick scan and go.

When in super cruise if you fly directly out of the gravity we'll you will always out accelerate the pursuer who is deeper in the well.

When jumping in to a known hotspot such as Deciat. As Felicity is the first Engineer on most players list to visit with a new ship.

1) Point your ship perpendicular to the plane of the ecliptic with max throttle

2) Set up a short jump as an escape route

3) Assess the scanner info.

If followed you can continue to kite them out until they give up, or get a sufficient gap then turn towards them slow and keep turning so they can't get into position to interdict, wait for them to give up.

Always be prepared to take the long way round to your destination, most gankers / griefers set their nets on the shortest /direct route to the destination.

If you manage to win the Interdiction be prepared to be immediately alternately chain interdicted by the rest of the wing.

If you can borrow a few shield booster modules from other ships in your fleet if you have them consider it before taking your brand new ship to get the drives upgraded if that's first on your list.

I don't know if there's a mechanic that I'm not aware of, I'm a fairly new player.
But I just got interdicted and instantly killed by another Commander. During the interdiction, I stayed in the circle almost the entire time, but despite that the red progress bar went up far faster than I could get my progress bar up.
Do I need to engineer my FSD? Is this because of the cheating thing that I've heard going around?
It happened in the system around Felicity Farseer.

Because you're bad at it. Lol.

Get a very fast and agile ship see if that helps.

I'm surprised no one mentioned how you can put the star behind you when you first get into system and park outside the "red zone" of said star. The attacker will be unable to get behind you and start an interdiction.

One more move to put in your arsenal CMDR Curiosity.

Hadn't thought of that one but it would work.
