i wouldn't say hideous, but it's certainly not the courier i remember. there are couple of ships i look at in videos and i'm like don't remember it looking that way or where has this unique thing gone, but to be honest most is definitely an improvement. i just wanted extending engines

The MK1V is not bad if you set it up and put some cash into it, though it still turns like a slow pig, its good for trading though and can have enough punch if you get interdicted and good for planetary landings. This is how i have mine set up (on the PC)

In the end your better off with an ASP explorer, it has better range and storage capabilities and good in a fight if I need it, its got a decent jump range for trades

I had a DBE for an hour then sold it. Not for me. I felt like such a traitor, too. Should be called a Paper Back Explorer
i admit it isn't for anyone, but i will use it mainly because it has such a low heat signature. and is quite good for staying cool around stars, will probably buy an Asp X at some point. but for a starter explorer ship, i think DBX fits and gets me out in uncharted space a little quicker
not flying in to the star, but low heat signature means i can stay out of the way of pirates a little longer
I thought you were off out exploring? You won't find many pirates in uncharted space. They won't attack you for data. Drop the shields unless taking a SRV.

IF they are going to be nice and show their apreciation by making a particular ship available only to us, as they did with the other platform, then I want one that's different one, it would show that they really do apreciate us and our platform. In so much as we are the hind teet and all. Surely they have a ship they haven't inroduced yet and are waiting for such a time as the 27th of June.

i would like to point out i don't fancy being another victim of the SDC's CG serial ship destroyers thank you very much, plus i heard some groups patrol the boarder of the bubble and kill unsuspecting explorers on there way in, so yeah i won't be taking any chances
