Terrific! Murphy's law dictates that this should happen a few days after I sold 20M Cr of exploration data. I wonder how much it has gone up by, and thus how much I lost out.

Anyone seen the new ship prices yet? =) And I wonder how much bounties/bonds have gone up by. Today is a good day to be a merc, it seems.

If these tweaks manage to sort out mercs and bounty hunters in terms of income parity (maybe not entirely, but at least it's a step in the right direction), we'll have smuggling, piracy, and mining left to tackle...

Does this mean we can buy the Clipper and Dropship without ranks or just that we get a discount or that they are still not available there. Last time I went there all the ships except those two were for sale, did something change?

I expect those still requiring ranks.

I'm guessing that you're not one who's spent a month or more exploring and just returned to civilized space the past week.

I've hardly done anything else than exploring since I started almost a month ago. Sold lots of data. But wont cry about it. It's a change in prices, that happens, the future is prosperous.

I don't see a reason to do it winged outside of core systems.

- We always recommend Commanders carry enough credits to cover insurance costs, but if the worst does happen, maximum available debt levels have been increased to 600,000 credits. Fly safe, Commanders.

So how about a separate "bank account" that you can use to (automatically) set aside your insurance, so you don't squander your cash and can't rebuy a ship (entirely) because you miscalculated somewhere?

A permit or Elite status I believe.
