In all honestly this is likely the weakest pz year. Don't get me wrong, there was good things like peccary, taz, kiwi, porcupine and fossa but they aren't enough to cover how mediocre they dlcs we're

Tropical was really boring, mostly because it only gave us one SA animal while having one excellent animal, one good and two meh animals, lacking a true monkey or anything interesting from SA, while the building theme give the taste of "SEA pack" instead of tropical.

Arid is the true definition of mediocrity, given that nobody asked for half of the animals, while from the other only two are trully amazing, being them the dromedary and the porcupine (just to clarify i like the addax and the somali donkey, but receiveing than in the same pack with other three ungulates make then fell less desirable and good).

Oceania was the better pack of this year with the penguin, devil and kiwi being incredible animals and having a good building theme but it still have problems with a bat that nobody cared and the quokka.

In the end there's only one pack that is trully good and two that are mediocre, with the bad side of the packs being more notable than the good ones. Honestly the only way that frontier can make this year not trully terrible is if they throw a incredible pack with no obviously downside like a amazon pack or a bird pack, but it's very obvious that this isn't happening.

Totally agree with literally everything.

I'm listening to Non, je je regrette bien by Edith Piaf while waiting for another client to come, so I connected to a random WiFi to see this😅
Holy moly that looks like drinkable Guacamole.
I want some 😆
Well, it's not anything like it. It's bitter, but not horribly, burnt bitter like coffee
hmmmm... GUACAMOLE? A typical mexican food

It seems so... LATIN AMERICA ANIMAL PACK
Mirá que bien, che
And the tea’s from Argentina?!? 🤨🤨🤨
Yes sir. Well, the one I drink. I drink Taragüí, Rosamonte, and Playaditos (the brands). Occasionally, we mix some together because some flavors are stronger but don't last as long
Tastes nothing like guacamole though so you will be so disappointed lol
Exactly. And I dunno why it made me think of Argentinean chimichurri compared to Mexican chimichurri. Not the same at all
That looks so yummy! And I love the special cup and straw! I love how almost every culture has its own tea ritual 😊
I dunno how people in Europe are with tea, but in Argentina it's kinda a way of life. Random strangers will drink mate together. I will frequently share mate with other people (if I know them). It's like a social thing, actually
But I haven't tried yerba mate yet! I'll try to track some down 🦊 (that's me sniffing the wind for a scent of it)
Well, apparently there's canned mate, but I have doubts about it. If you want the real deal, go to an Argentinean place; they should have some mates and some yerba, too
How has everyone felt about this year? I liked Arid and Oceania but IDK this year was kind of not at all what I wanted...
It was ok. I don't have any true wants know since the North America pack, but I still love that many people got what they wanted and I'm happy for them

TBH if Planet Zoo is coming to console I can see them adding/ doing something pretty cool to the game to boost sales. Maybe adding some sort of aviary or aquarium feature and getting it to work in game? Or maybe the winter/ spring DLC will be a game changer like aquatic?

I’m just gonna beat the dead horse again: while I can see them saving flying birds for a sequel, I don’t think they would announce Planet Zoo 2 anytime soon. Maybe not until 5 years into the future? If a sequel is announced I can see how it may kill future buyers for base game or dlc. Or maybe Planet Zoo will be like Minecraft or TeamFortress 2. The game is supported for years and carried by the community. We already have a mechanic for flight in game, and I’m not so conflicted on this: if they wanted to add birds they would have already/ obviously they must be waiting for something.

While I’m fairly certain this Winter DLC is mountains/ alpine/ highlands, maybe the spring DLC will be a bird DLC. I still find it annoying in my zoo game I have no parrots, waterfowl, birds of prey, etc. obviously I can live with it, but man it gets irritating. It also doesn’t help them some YouTubers have been speculating on Planet Zoos future and birds are always brought up. So it gives me hope and mixed feelings.
