Also, we've now gotten our two birds for this year.

Well we got a pack for a very underrepresented area aswell as two birds in a single pack. Maybe frontier is listening to us after allAlso, we've now gotten our two birds for this year.

We've had a couple of "hot weather" packs, so I wouldn't be at all surprised if we went to mountains/highlands/cooler regions next.
I see spectacled bear and wolverine mentioned a lot, and either of these would sell the pack for me.
What's the usual pattern for the winter DLC? We're looking at an early December release, right?

im absolutely happy with the animals, but i think its a bit of a shame that this pack is very NZ and AUS focused.The Pack says Oceanic,but Oceanic region is more than just NZ and AUS. I would rather see animals from Papua New Guinea, Fiji, Samoa, or Solomon Island.
In a mountain/highland animal pack, it could also give us the Darwin Rhea
I think it's the last ratite to make it complete! What interests me is what unique rig animals Frontier will add to a Highland pack?
They always add about 2 new rigs per DLC.
Most of Highlands potential roster would be comprised of clones. Yes, new climbing animations may be needed for some but not a whole new rig I think.
Possible Clone Candidates include:
-Markhor
-Takin
-Rocky Mountain Goat
-Yak
-Japanese Serow
-Himalayan Tahr
-Bharal
-Spectacled Bear
-Golden Snub Nosed Monkey (Proboscis)
-Urial
-Barbary Sheep
-Pallas Cat
-Monal
-Golden Pheasant
-Rhea
Now for the unique rigs
1) Baboon/Gelada?
2) Tree Kangaroo?
3) Condor/Eagle?
4) Giant Salamander?
5) Wolverine?
Anyone think of anything else?

Yeah, I added Pallas and Monal. But I can only see those 5 unique rigs for a Highlands pack.
Assuming that flying birds is out of the question that means:
We get 2 out of 4.

What i would like: another surprise like the Oceania pack was (we were expecting the kiwi and the tassie just not like this). An animal pack with latinamerican animals. Don't expect it but i would LOVE it.

I can't think of Frontier passing up on walrus, so I don't believe wolverine will be in a highland pack since they don't actually live in highlands.
I hope for a mountains animal pack or a tundra animal pack;

I would love to see them.I know that wolverine are found in the north cascades mountain range in Western North America. Surely that counts as highlands.
You are right probably tundra/arctic then so no spectacled bear, but wolverine, musk ox, walrus, sea otter and the like
