And where the manatee? For me, this is the first choice when it comes to a pack of all-water animals (for "large"? marine mammals).
(Captain Callum I do not write this to you personally, do not feel offended).
For me, the whole "argument" regarding this makes no sense. Whether they will or not is not up to us (maybe to a small extent). This is one of the topics that people are arguing about. The other is the consideration of extinct species. Of which the second (more loses) because there is no argument about conservation in rl.
We can express our opinions, but you don't have to argue because it doesn't do anything useful.
For me, it doesn't matter whether they will or not. If they are, I will play with them, if not, I won't.
I'm not in favor of whales, but let's not make the game a real world game where every animal will feel different emotions, because it's just a game I'm already satisfied with, and every next addition is already "filling the lineup" for me.
I was confused by Twilight Pack, but now I'm really happy that it contains such and not other animals and I can't imagine playing without it. This was the case with every species that seemed "suspicious" (Nile Lechwe, Caimans... etc.) but I'm glad to have them.
If they're whales, I'll be confused, but then... I'll be glad, that they're part of the game (my brain will have to digest it

).
