Good observation! I should have compared on paper. I don't know if I have any size 4s left, but if so, size 4 prismatic and size 5 hull reinforcement is a better combo indeed. Not much gain over a size 4 prismatic... so bit of a waste of power
You might consider clean tuning your drives instead of dirty. It would still boost a respectable mid fives, and potentially stay below 20% heat at full boost in the old debris fields (caustic cloud at Cocijo might warm it up a bit, IDK.)I bought it to use to recover Titan Drive Components except it doesn't have enough power with Low Emissions Power Plant to keep heat down.

What's the point of being that cold? You might consider clean tuning your drives instead of dirty. It would still boost a respectable mid fives, and potentially stay below 20% heat at full boost in the old debris fields (caustic cloud at Cocijo might warm it up a bit, IDK.)
It also frees up enough power to add extra shield boosters (depending on hardpoint loadout).Good observation! I should have compared on paper. I don't know if I have any size 4s left, but if so, size 4 prismatic and size 5 hull reinforcement is a better combo indeed.
Accomplishing the mission. There are no targets for vent beams on the bare outskirts of the debris field, and alerting thargoinds and running away means not finding drive components, which is what the poster was after. What's the point of being that cold?
CMk5 has 5 hardpoints, I'm sure you can put a vent beam on one of them. Or you can just boost away from nearly anything at 610 m/s (with dirty drives).
What are the weapons for? If you get rid of them, you can run much cooler. Here's mine. It's colder, faster, stronger and has more jump range:I bought it to use to recover Titan Drive Components except it doesn't have enough power with Low Emissions Power Plant to keep heat down.

It's been a little while since I went into a dead Titan, I was using my Cobra 3 before when I did and it was fine. This build is based on the old build. I saw you had regular multi's on... I'm not sure if you are aware, but they won't help you against any scouts floating around, so I added some AX multi's instead... and went in shieldless on my old cobra so I left it that way in this build... Since I haven't gone in with the 5 yet, it might need to be tweaked a little, but it's based on a smuggling and hatch breaking Pirate build that I'm doing.. By the way, the size 3 Operations Multi controllers give you 4 limpets instead of the 3 you get with the size 5 collector.... But the point was the Temps... 12.4 Idle and 14.8 with thrusters.I bought it to use to recover Titan Drive Components except it doesn't have enough power with Low Emissions Power Plant to keep heat down.

Whenever I try to open a coriolis.io link, I get an error message. Does anyone know how to fix it?More of a general-purpose, hull defense focused build - coriolis.io
Try clearing your browser cache. Coriolis saves the ship settings to the browser's local storage. Alternatively, you can clear the storage manually by pressing F12 to invoke developer tools, then switch to the 'console' tab, and write:Whenever I try to open a coriolis.io link, I get an error message. The error:
Jameson, we have a problem..
Ship not found: cobramkv
That worked, thank you.Try clearing your browser cache. Coriolis saves the ship settings to the browser's local storage. Alternatively, you can clear the storage manually by pressing F12 to invoke developer tools, then switch to the 'console' tab, and write:
localStorage.clear()
Confirm the command by pressing enter. Reload the site and you should be good to go.

Yes, it will wipe everything since Coriolis saves every loadout to your browser's storage. You might want to export your loadouts first, save them to a text file, and re-import them after you wipe the storage.Does that also clear all of your stored ships?
I've not had that kind of error from Coriolis before but my first guess would have been that the local copy of the app's code hadn't been updated since the MkV was added - when that happens, Coriolis tends to put up a banner saying something like "New version available - click here to update".
The rule of thumb is to set up your power plant for almost exactly as much power as you need without an excess, while also using power priorities to turn off things that don't need to be on when hardpoints are out. You also want a better Thermal Coefficient for various reasons.i'm running armored G5 a-grade powerplant + monstered experimental on it
is that a bad combo to run? i seem to have enough power and the heat isnt bad. adds a bit of weight tho
maybe there is something better?
